In low voltage those pouches might be ok for holding the variety of crimper and strippers I use on a daily basis.

Try the badger, diamondback and Occidental. Their top of the line. I have a mismatch set of all three and they’re the best.

I like the fact that you mentioned the dedicated speed square location, but did not mentioned anything about where you stick your hammer, a glaring omission. As a carpenter of 30 years, and presently looking for a new rig, would strongly base my decision to purchase on those two criteria. Very informative review. Thanks
@bravocompanyhomeimprovemen874210 ай бұрын
I completely agree! I for what ever reason didn't think of it at the moment. The hammer location is great. Its a slightly angled holster to the rear. However I prefer the metal hoop style of the spec ops vest over the atlas vest. If I can devise a way to combine or use the hoop from the spec ops it'll be a great set-up. The holster on the atlas is sometimes a bit harder to understand holster is my reasoning for preferring the hoop style.

It's very important to not have excess weight on the body, limiting the amount you have hanging off your body is a very good idea.

Great video. Unfortunately it seems i found out about this 4 years too late. These vest are too over priced for my taste. A single large pouch is $300 plus tax.

Do you guys still use these atlas 46 vests?? Interested in long term review, if it’s something you would still recommend?? Nice video Gents!!

It’s smart. It’s more worker friendly and dispersed weight and helps with back and fatigue issues. It’s an Operator type set up. Don’t know the price range for y’all’s gear but It can easily be done with Combat , battle belt ect from army/ navy store or online. Excellent concept

I hired a former cav scout to my crew, he has back issues due to service related injuries and he says that these vest are way more comfortable and by far better on his back than the traditional tool belts!
@joelbraun182 жыл бұрын
Man this video must be old! You guys said it will run around $300 to get the Atlas vest fully equipped. Try $1,000 now at least! Good work though guys.
@cali_misfit13872 жыл бұрын
that’s what i was gonna say lol I paid $350 for the basic vest. $200 for the rigid belt. Then the impact holster and the tool pounces and magnets lol grand total was $833
@juliodolmus5720 Жыл бұрын
I was going to say the same thing. The vest alone with nothing attached is about $400, unless you buy the bundle it's slightly cheaper around $700. The vest looks cool but the price on these items are a bit insane.

I never use my Atlas vest rig anymore its practically new. Its too hot in warm weather and i plane just got sick of the tactical comments on it. I just purchased an Oxidental vest hopefully its cooler due to being more open. I hope i can sell my Atlas vest i had almost 400$ into it and all the pc's have doubled in price since i purchased.

I've been making tool vests out of FLC vests for years. I actually see a lot of my ideas incorporated into your 2 vests. I don't have a KZfaq channel but always been meaning to start one to share my ideas and solutions. Contact me via pm and I will send you one of my vests to try out.

Daniel, thanks for the comment. I would be happy to try out your vest! Unfortunately I'm not aware of any way to private msg an account through KZfaq. Is there a specific platform that I could find you and message you directly?

Just the pencil holder is $60 A large pouch is $300. It hurt looking at that price point. Wanted to buy this but you need to be bringing alot of throw away revenue to pay that price with a strait face
