Yeah I really wanted a toolbox and tonneau cover combo. We have a F450 so everything fits fine. Wish I could afford the hard roll up tonneau covers! Those are nice!

No I believe the hardware never does come with it. I used the Better Built Grip Rite no drill truck toolbox mount. Usually can be found at Lowe’s or Walmart. Thanks for watching.

So yes this can totally be an issue on extreme tight 90 degree backing situations. I use to tow with an Andersen hitch and my pin box came in contact once with the tonneau cover rails. Bent it just a smudge. I’ve seen other people like Chad from Changing Lanes and JD from BTBRV cut small sections out of the rails to free up room. I now have a Reese Goosebox installed and I sit up high enough to clear in most cases. Good luck finding the toolbox though because I think they are discontinued which sucks cause people love them.

The toolbox should be fine for your truck if you can find one. I’m not sure if they make a crossover shotgun latch box that isn’t low profile.

I want to get a Reese goose box so we can put a tool box in. Great video.

I really can’t remember, been a few years since I installed it. I did use a little Proflex sealant in areas to get a tighter weather seal though.

No issues. The trucks been well taken care of and routinely maintenance which I think is key for the 6.4. Plus it was DPF & EGR deleted and retuned a long time ago. Has the 4.88 gear ratio which they don’t even do anymore so its got the torque & extra horse power from being retuned, pulls like a champ.

This toolbox is 20” wide and the Access Tonneau Cover works with most 19”-21” wide toolboxes.

The toolbox was around $350 when I bought it a few years ago. I don’t believe they make them anymore and they are hard to find. The tonneau cover is currently listed at $537 on etrailer.com The link is in the video description 👍🏼
