Yes, its quite crazy the price jump on some of these boxes for us Canadians when south of the border they are literally half the price! The blue looks awesome, no doubt you'll love it.

Thanks man, glad its helpful. As for the drawers and how much of them are covered, the top drawer is almost 5" of drawer hidden when fully pulled out, while the other drawers are about 2". Thats probably my only real gripe about the box since the top drawer is where I go into the most.

Yes the electrical panel is unfortunately not easily moveable. Im sure taking the back of the box off you could possibly re work the panel to the other side, but not sure how worth it that is.

I have not tried that, but I also rarely ever raise the top on it since I dont need to access whats in there very much. Not a bad idea though!

I made a "bit" for my Husky table specifically for that. It works well. I do notice that if I raise it too fast, there's a sketchy-sounding "screech" that comes from inside the machinery inside the table, so I just raise it slowly. So far, so good.

Yea, tell me about it. The flimsy base ones here cost the same as the heavy duty ones stateside, and they have all the features that you kinda need in a toolbox you plan to keep or grow into.

@@hpbunker anything you recommend for someone who can’t really travel stateside for a tool bench? The best options I can see right now are still either the Husky’s or Canadian Tire Maximum work benches. But both are pretty similar and lack features compared to our southern neighbours.

@@matthoffman6962 if you arent planning to move the box a lot (up against a wall like mine) and dont have a LOT of heavy tools and need something right away, I'd try the basic husky or mastercraft boxes like you suggested and just be aware of its limits- I used a 26" husky top and bottom chest for years before upgrading to this, but I knew not to overload it. But if you have time, I'd try scouring kijiji and marketplace for one of the more expensive boxes used. I also tried the milwaukee boxes in store, and even though I wasnt a huge fan of the layout on some, they are nice boxes, and there were always lots of used ones for sale near me just because of the giant milwaukee fanbase out there. Yes, all drawers lock with the key. Forgot to mention that in the video since I never lock the box it being in my home garage.

That I am not sure about. There was nothing about what its weight capacity is to be able to lift the top in the instructions or even in the product description...atleast not that I saw. I had about 50 lbs on it and it lifted no problem, but I have not tried loading it to see what it would lift, or even lift repeatedly.

Sorry for the late reply, mine locks all drawers. I totally forgot to mention that feature in the video just because I never use the keys. Hopefully you still have time to maybe get it warrantied or fixed

it was $600 on sale at HD for a long time. i picked one up at that price. i unfortunately told the delivery guys to put the movable casters on the wrong side, and not it's too heavy for me to fix it alone lol. dont make my mistake!

The box is great and suits my needs perfectly because of the size of my garage and really needing a box that doubled as a workbench. But if my garage was bigger and I had room for actual workbenches, I would have spent the extra on the HF box. But if you need a workspace that is substantial (especially depth wise) then this box ALL day. It is good quality all around.

Oh and are they magnetic or did you bolt them on I am also seeking to see if there is a way to convert the casters to leveling legs. Not sure if you know if this is possible on this cabinet. If you do please share how. lol.

@@rollthers3157 I have the keys under the top right now, and a ton of crap on the top, so I can't lift it to check. But judging by the lock slot, its yor standard toolbox style keys if that makes sense?
