✅ Toolcat Grading With A 7ft Box Blade - UTVHitchWorks 3-point

2 жыл бұрынHere's me using a 7ft 3-point box blade to smooth out my dirt track (similar to gravel driveway) with my Bobcat Toolcat 5600 that has a UTVhitchworks Farmboy 3-point hitch on the back. I adjust the top link and scarifier teeth to do more of a grading action than digging/scooping. This is to smooth out ruts and rip up grass that is growing on the track.

Been considering this hitch since I saw your install video. Nice to see it in action. Only bummer I see is the lack of a float from the dump bed controls but then you also get the down pressure advantage. I’d love to see you get some Mattracks on your toolcat to test them out in the mud and snow next!

Hello Nater, with this utv hitch is it even worth getting the 5610/UW53 at all? Do you think this did a good job enough to replace the above? I am torn on either getting the 53 or 56. Problem with the 56 is front attachments are super expensive.

I couldn’t tell if the three point hitch had adjustable side links. Might have been able to make your track switchbacks more canted. We share many hobbies! Enjoy.

Curious about your thoughts on the UW56/53. What's new/different?

It's been a while! It appears to be mostly cosmetic updates, mechanically very similar if not the same. LED lights standard and integrated into front fenders, updated interior but otherwise very similar to the previous model.

@@NaterTater thanks. I was very surprised how much I like the L28. Was wondering if they had updated the lift height on the new Toolcat. I guess I do not understand the design limitation., maybe the seat height differential.

@@keweenawbee the L28 has a higher lift height probably due just to the fact that it has a telescoping lift arm.
