Shoutouts to the guy who always shouts "THIIIIIIRD EEEEEEEYEEEEE" in all TOOL shows.

They've never been able to replicate this on any of their later albums. This song sounds nothing like any Lateralus, 10000 Days or Fear Inoculum song, neither like any Ænima song. It's just monumental, the best thing Tool has ever made.

Tool best band of all time
@SuttonSantiniPaulo
This is the quintessential tool song. If someone says they’ve never listened to tool before i tell them to listen to this.

Funny how the older I get and the more wisdom I attain the more clear these words are to me

I would put this song on repeat during acid trips as a teenager. So many emotions and memories are interwoven within this melody that every time I hear it I'm 16 again. If you asked me what my favorite Tool song is I would say this without hesitation.

Today a young man on acid realized that all matter is merely energy condensed to a slow vibration.. that we are all one consciousness experiencing itself subjectively, there is no such thing as death, life is only a dream, and we are the imagination of ourselves..

For the younger generation just discovering TOOL for the first time since the release of the streaming, do yourself a favor and look up Bill Hicks. He is a comedian from the early 90's. Understanding him along will TOOL, will no doubt help to begin prying opening your Third Eye.
