It's been a very tough couple of months for the lads due to injuries depleting our squad and tiredness was inevitable with the amount of games and travel involved. I'm so proud of the resilience they have shown. With the character and quality we do have available for tomorrow's huge game, along with the togetherness, high energy and quality front foot passing Eddie, Jason and Graeme have created. As well as our brilliant fans rocking St. James Park. I'm confident we will beat Milan and progress in the Champions League. Howay the lads ❤❤❤

The crowd will have to play a big part in this game because if they are quiet then Newcastle will lose. The players have no energy anyway so they’ll have to draw it from somewhere. This is a situation where you really need the 12th man.

Everyone says we’ve already been knocked out were a finished club etc you just lost to Tottenham and Everton Let’s look at the positives everyone knows how bad our away form is but when we’re at home we’re absolutely brilliant we’re at home to Milan and Dortmund are at home to PSG Milan have several of their best players injured and as a result are in very bad form Dortmund who need to beat PSG are in very good form after beating Milan 3-1 and they won’t want to bottle top spot. Think about it logically what a historic moment it would be if Newcastle and Dortmund win and PSG is in the europa league and several champions league winners Milan get completely knocked out of the whole thing!
