Oh,how I miss those days. I remember staying up all night as a kid watching this. Those care-free days.

I never realized that the Midnight Run aired un-edited anime back then.

Just another epic memory from the 90's. DBZ was my Game of Thrones as a kid hahaha.

I stayed up all night watching this. The first time, as a teenager, i even stayed up 24 hours. I felt good, then tired, then eventually a little sick. I watched toonami, and switched between that and Iron Chef on Food Network. I heard the early morning newspaper car deliver our paper. Eventually my parents came downstairs to greet the new day. i felt accomplished, having stayed up all night, but also a bit disappointed-- it wasn't as amazing as i thought it'd be. 20 years later, i have never stayed up 24 hours again

This was the shit. In my early adolescent years. Being able to muster up the will to actually stay up and watch DBZ and Gundam late at night. Especially on a school night. I use to set an alarm clock on a little old TimeX wrist watch and stay up from 1200-0100. Then immediately go to bed. Good times.

1999 was an awesome year for me.

I swear, between the midnight run, regular toonami, and later adult swim, that I became a night owl.

lol, the 1 frame flash of Mike from Mike, Lu, and Og at 16:12 is one of the few reminders of that shows existence. For whatever reason, I still remember her going "This baby'll light up the dark side of the moon" when showing off some bright spotlight or something of hers.

Damn I was only 14 when this was happening. I remember not watching cartoons for a few years before this cause good guys always win scenarios made me bored. Until I clicked on dragon ball z and watched the episode were tien died. I was so shocked I thought the guy running on the long snake was going to show up on time to save him. After that I was hooked on anime.

I'm here because RBG died and nostalgia's my only escape hatch. I can't deal right now.
