Funimation didn’t do this. This was done directly with Toonami & Toei. This has never been released in America prior to this let alone dubbed on TV. TOONAMI STILL THE OG’S

I mean the moment that I first knew of Toriko was dubbed I said”now they could do this crossover now since now have a dub now they need to dub the One piece x Toriko one too

Well funimation or crunchyroll do the dub toriko one piece and dbz if one of them wasn't part of crunchyroll they would not do it

Finally after all these years they're finally doing crossover that fans been waiting for and best of all Dragon Ball Z has returned for one last time and yeah this takes place from the 2000 or 2010 before they decide to release Dragon Ball super

I'm hoping after this, the Toriko Dub gets brought back, maybe they could start airing the original 50 episode on toonami to give them time to Dub the rest of it, then it might take a while, but maybe they could get Toei to make a Sequel Anime to Adapt the rest of the Manga

So to the people that are confused about several things. This is over ten years old so Goku's max power is capped at SSJ3. Super Saiyan god, GoDs etc have not been invented yet. 2nd: Goku has been nerfed significantly so Luffy and Toriko can put up a fight. And just a little heads up on those that aren't familiar with Toriko. Every single person from the Toriko verse featured in this special can one shot Kaido. And that goes double for the little grandma with the pink hair. Don't piss Granny Setsuno off. It may just be the last thing you ever do.

honestly if it was going off manga feats Toriko would be about the only one their to compete with the dbz verse characters, giving they were literally clapping their own planet so much from all the fighting by the end of the manga that it was in danger of being destroyed, and if I recall the planet in Toriko is ridiculously huge.

To Dragon Ball fans, this is equivalent to Goku hanging out with his son, Gohan and also, Whis. To One Piece fans, this is equivalent to Luffy, Brook, and Dr. Indigo competing in a game hosted by Blackbeard or Arlong. To Toriko fans....I don't know, I haven't seen the series.

Toriko. Read the manga tho. If you like Hunter x Hunter, Jojo, DBZ and One Piece. You'll enjoy Toriko. Toei ruined the anime so avoid it. Read the manga instead.
