They haven't hired him because it would be the falsest advertising for a show since the orange bricks trailer 😂 Excellent work though, seriously. We need releases in this quality lol I still hold hope that one day DBZ gets the same treatment as the original Dragon Ball's remaster by AB Groupe with color correction, good quality audio, and proper aspect ratio and upscaling. Because as it stands, the most consistent release is from the fucking 90's and it's obviously not very watchable by today's standards. And Funimation has consistently butchered the quality of their releases because fuck the fans I guess.

Nice job, though TBH I actually prefer the Viz Dub/Crystal voices for Sailor Moon rather than the DiC/Cloverway Dub. I don’t hate the latter, but I feel like the former is more accurate and is honestly overhated.

It's nostalgia goggles at work. As someone who grew up with the original since all my friends were girls when I was a kid, I knew something wrong was with the show and wanted something like this redub for years, even fan casting Stephanie Sheh for the role of Sailor Moon when it was announced back in 2014. Thats not a joke. I even remember telling my friends that the voice actress for Orihime should play Usagi in the redub.

Well not really entirely and highly doubt it's OK now to use the original Sailor Moon DUB given it's reputation and also really can't get away with that vs when this was airing let's hope. Anyway the only type that can be OK with is the VIZ DUB hope it sticks there.

Yeah i used to come home from school every day back in the 90s and Toonami would start as soon as i got to my house because i lived two towns over from it. I remember G Gundam, Rurouni Kenshin, DBZ, Sailor Moon, and Tenchi Universe.

Too bad Toonami Rewind is not a a real nostalgia vibe since they’re not using the OG DBZ dub with the Bruce Faulconer score and unfortunately they can’t use the old Sailor Moon dub. The Viz Dub should be on the current Toonami Block.

Well it's the saddest What if because as I said shorten attention spans as being taken up by games like Fortnite are kind of like the original DBZ can't be shown anymore not even the not even the edited FUNimation Dub done at Ocean productions or or the in-house dub seasons 3 Through 6 or the remastered version of the uncut version, as for Sailor Moon, I said it before Toei has a nasty habit of junking material, That is why you never see the original dub of Sailor Moon ever again. Honestly I would have thrown in as much as I don't like the show there's a lot of people do but it's better than the other show in the franchise with the pretty boys, ugh, Gundam Wing. (Yes, that was a diss towards Seed)

TMNT 2003 is currently with Nickelodeon. They cannot play Megas XLR on American Cartoon Network or adult swim ever again. Pokémon is trying to start up a streaming service and they still have that deal with Disney to contend with. I still see a little bit of Hope for the rest of them but considering the climate they might consider Static a little too much political, They might demand a continuation for TT 03 that might end up axing TTGO And Mike might not end up being good and besides it ended on an open-ended resolution everybody says that is a cliffhanger it's not, Yu Yu Hakusho I could see going in the main Toonami Block.

As for Transformers: Armada goes, I loved that series back in the day, but Transformers is one of those series that tend to have a shelf life. I doubt it will ever return to CN, but it would be awesome if it does.

@@MichaelSerrano-sk1vqUnfortunately, it's now a crunchyroll license, and Toonami really can't afford crunchyroll stuff nowadays. Not to mention it's not made by Toei, so it's unlikely. Yu Yu Hakusho is made by Pierrot, but Toonami doesn't license anime directly from them. They were able to get Bleach and Naruto, two Pierrot anime, since Viz made the dubs and Viz anime is easier to license.

@henryfreed-fundak5861 Nobody owns the rights to Hamtaro anymore and Toonami would have to do some early morning version in order to show it because Hamtaro doesn’t exactly fit with Adult Swim. Even Dexter’s Laboratory on the Checkered Past is a bit questionable.

The DiC/ Cloverway dub of Sailor Moon No longer exists (They were junked when Toei shut it down), They cannot run uncut DBZ remember attention spans have gone down in the past decade and those Ocean production based Funi dubs have been edited. This is what kind of sucks about doing a nostalgia based block @SlimD716, You're stuck with your currently have. P.S. Nice edit anyways.

@@Made_In_Heaven88Internet archive is in danger pretty much everyday, Be careful because we don't know how long the archive is going to last, And torrenting with a VPN can get you so far, if you find any tapes or DVDs of the old DVD of Sailor Moon Make sure to rip it. You don't know how long that's going to last. Again, I suggest getting those recent VIZ re-releases for the video. Until Crunchyroll does another re-release of the ocean dub in some SD Blu-ray Rock The dragon will be the last time the ocean dub gets an official release in its original broadcast form. I grew up with Kai And simultaneously the original DBZ.

@@MacUser2-il2cx So basically, It has the uncut version of that one anime from the height of its popularity, a remastered re-edit of a Shonen Jump Anime from the height of its popularity, And that one Twilight Years anime that someone everybody has an opinion on. The original Toonami would have a mixture of both Western cartoons and anime. A western cartoon should have made the cut here, specifically one that is important to the importance of computer animation *Hint Hint* ReBoot or you know slap on Tenchi or one of the Gundams.

Naruto in classic Toonami? I don't think so. Naruto only became a thing after ~2002 or so. Toonami was already winding down and done by then.

I agree with you in a way. The true golden era was like 2002 and earlier. Maybe even some of 2003. But I still accept anything from Toonami's original run to be considered classic Toonami.

@SlimD716 Now for my actual criticisms of the block okay if they wanted to use Sailor Moon that fine, It's okay with me But don't have it start off this New incarnation of the afternoon block instead have Dragon Ball Z Kai at 5 instead of another half hour of DBZ do something that was on the original Toonami but in its later years, One Piece From the very beginning In uncut format at 5:30, 6:00 would be the best time to put Sailor Moon, then end logically with The original Naruto. Now my well wishes to those at Toonami, I hope it gets the extra hour, I said I wanted ReBoot to have a Western cartoon on Toonami again, but it's most likely going to be a DC cartoon mine's going to be a Little bit out of left field, Justice League or Teen Titans, And because it's relevant again, I guess the next anime spot has to go to can't believe I'm saying it the new dub of Gundam Seed.

@@MichaelSerrano-sk1vq Still would’ve been awesome to see again y’know? Last time Vanilla DBZ was on was in 2012. Like Kai has a better dub sure but it wasn’t part of our childhood lineup.

From what I read and heard, they actually can't air that version of DBZ anymore. Supposedly, there was some kind of fallout with Faulkner, who did the music score for the old English dub, and what was then Funimation Studios, and as such, that version of the show can't be aired on television. Plus, a few years after Toonami got canceled the first time back in 2008, Cartoon Network lost the rights to air the series, and it's unlikely it'll ever be shown on TV again, hence why DBZ: Kai is airing in this time slot. Basically, even if Toei has a change of heart and Adult Swim miraculously gets the rights back to air the original DBZ, it won't have the Faulkner tracks in it.

I better not see that Guy says he got betrayed by FUNimation/Crunchyroll corporations And voice actors are not your friends buddy. Stop treating them like your Oshi, Vic was dropped, Nothing we can do. P.S. Yes I felt angry that he wasn't given a chance to defend himself before he was fired, But there's a lot more to be angry at Crunchyroll/ Funimation about and trust me I do not want to get into That here, But that was part of a Long part of of a chain of problems leading into Vic's termination.
