There's a short promo for Toonami Rewind? 😄 Didn't know. The 4k restoration is always amazing, but the best part in this promo and the one before are the classic Toonami graphics. Made from scratch and stunning to look at.

These short promos are extremely well made anime advertisements, toonami even sounds awesome. It was magical seeing toonami for the first time, on a tube TV, lighting up the dark with a glow. Dragon ball z, sailor moon, just wow. Outlaw star, cowboy bebop, Gundam, nuku nuku, there was a decent amount of iconic older anime. These days, we have some newer iconic stuff, like demon slayer, highschool DxD is mostly great, a few others have great moments.

Naurto, Sailor Moon and Dragon Ball Z. All 3 those anime shows were on Toonami during it's Cartoon Network days.

Yep, I watched those shows as a kid and a teenager back then in the late 1990s and mid 2000s. Now I can relive watching them again. Hopefully they can add more old anime like Yu Yu Hakusho, Big O, Gundam series, and more.

So did I. Let's hope the female anime fans like Sailor Moon and Dragon ball z. Naruto and Dragon Ball Z usually have battles that involve physical combat.

Old times. Old days. My brother and I used to watch Toonami together, he used to Dragonball Z and Gundam, I used to watch Sailor Moon. Now, I'm 30 and he's 35.

I’d love it if they brought back the old Zoid shows. Chaotic Century and New Century Zero and Fuzors. Sailor Moon was among my go-tos back in the day. And Card Captor Sakura/Cardcaptors! They’re taking that off Netflix and I didn’t have the time to watch it at all!

Hey Slim I was curious if there was a possibility that you could restore the old footages of the old Toonami Top 10 we did from years ago to today’s quality? Not sure if you have as much time to be able to do it but I think would be kind of cool, especially since some of the videos aren’t up anymore because of KZfaq.

I could look into doing that. Not sure how I'll be able to dodge the copyright restrictions. But maybe I could rework them and shorten them up by using very short clips instead.

I'm betting Sailor Moon will be the awful Viz dub, and not the classic DiC dub, lol. They should have just aired S.

The voices are better in the DiC version, but the writing is better in the Viz version. Let me have my hill to die on, lol.

@@zzco Just my opinion, but while the voices for the five inner scouts, Tuxedo mask and most of the main villains were ok to "at least they're having some fun with it", the majority of the other voices either didn't fit or were a bit annoying. Of course, I read about what happened behind the scenes and the DIC dub had to be done in 3 months, so if it sounded like a rush job, well, that's because it was one. It's nothing short of a miracle they finished it by the deadline and all the episodes they dubbed made it to television.

@@TheEman590 Still, for a kid who grew up with Moltar as host, I'm veeery biased towards favoring the DiC dub, lol. I'll admit it wholeheartedly :p
