B.E.R., the band made famous with their 80s-style Rock Anthem, "The Night Begins to Shine", featured on Cartoon Network's Teen Titans Go!, was interviewed by ToonBarn's Marc Morrell at New York Comic Con (NYCC). B.E.R. has 3 band members, Carl Burnett, Frank Enea, and Billy Regan, who were all featured in a special 4-episode arc on Teen Titans Go!
Their amazing story is captured here in full detail, as they share the magic and the truth behind a song that debuted at #23 on the Billboard Hot Rock Songs chart back in August, 2017.

This song has been my ringtone for the past year and a half. Every time it goes off, somebody starts singing it with the biggest smile on their face! The song is magic!

Wish I'd seen this sooner, these guys are so sweet! And their music is amazing, I absolutely love the song Rise Up, every time I hear it I feel energized and motivated. I hope TTG brings them back because they're just so cool!

Its crazy. Its such a common story of a parent trying to get their kids to like this kind of music, and here we have a kid who gets their parent to like this music. This is an inverse kind of beauty....like listing to the backmask of a song and the backmask forms a perfectly melodic song of its own

I miss the 80's. You guys are awesome!!!! Love the song! I am almost 50 and I never watched Teen Titans before. I was channel surfing and I heard "The Night Begins to Shine" and now I watch the show. My favorite episodes are the B.E.R. episodes!

I do enjoy their music they definitely need more songs. I might have not be born yet when they came out im 27 I'm a 1992 baby lol but I like them to be real never heard of them until watching Teen Titans with my daughter lol least I'm honest. Frank was the one that originally wrote the Night Begins to Shine for teen titans. It was originally meant to be a one-off song played and referenced for a single episode. It was never actually meant to be taken beyond that. But it was, and the rest as they say "Is History".

My two boys who are 6 and 8 LOVE The Night Begins to Shine. they sing it in the car.. on repeat.. but it is a great song.. I had never heard of B.E.R in the UK until watching it on Teen Titans Go, but wow - very cool
