So excited. I absolutely love ezdrummer 3 and ezkeys2 so much -- been waiting patiently for ezmix 3! Got ezdrummer2, ezmix2 and ezkeys over various holiday promotions for half off, making the upgrades to the new software a no brainer! I immediately came to your channel when I saw the announcement just today. Thanks for all you do!!

I don’t use EZMix for actual “Mixing” per say, but the different effects are fun to mess with and get creative. Like the lo-fi, and cinematic fx, or like the ambient packs. And yes, like shawn said, I’ll use some of the Mastering presets on full tracks (demos.)

I just got mine... I already have EZmix 2 so for $59 it's a no brainer. Come on Aug 20th!!! Got the Dark Ambience EZmix pack with it..

I don't really know which packs to get with EZ Mix 3. I was thinking the ones with named engineers because they have their name on the line. Is there anything else I should consider?

Hard to say what you should get. I use most of the mastering ones. Some of the vocal ones.

It looks from the single screenshot of the software like the idea is the instruments are the dots and the screen is the soundstage and you place them around within the soundstage. If thats the case I wont upgrade to this either...im sure hoping thats not the case. I use an ooooold DAW and am not interested in learning a new DAW to have access to new "upgraded" software but that's just me. Im too old and hardheaded and can spend my time doing other things....like imagining Shootie's dreds if he covered each strand in shrink tubing....now THAT would be worth the upgrade 🙂

What mastering pack is your favorite? Why?

I think it's Mastering 2, for the 60's preset. I use it on all genres often.

Thanks. I have ezmix2. Have used it on guitars and vocals but not for mixing or mastering. Will look at that for my upgrade free pack

All Toontrack products work in Cubase. I use EZMix 2 with no issues in Cubase 13

Huh, not for me. The VST manager considered it unusable due to it being VST2

I don’t remember how this resolved a couple years back but Cubase abandoned vst2 support if you’re referring to ezmix2. That would be cubase’s doing. Ezmix3 will be all good.
