I wish I had five more minutes to walk my 19 year old to his first day of kindergarten, to cheer as I watched him play in his first soccer game, to watch him score his first touchdown, to watch him drive his first car, to watch him be crowned the Homecoming King, to help him pick out his Senior prom tux, to walk him onto the field for his last football game as a Senior and to watch him take that graduation walk. My husband and I took him to college last August. He’s a Morehouse man now and we are so proud of him. I still haven’t gotten used to his empty, clean bedroom yet or the lack of loud teenage boy sounds in our home. I find myself wishing I had five more minutes to read “The Giving Tree” to my little man again.

People seem to love country music because it so relatable! They sing songs about real things that happen in life...no matter where u grew-up. I see u get very teary-eyed when a song is about family, and the circle of life! That is what country music focuses on the most! They know how to pull at people's heart strings!
