Humans are not a 'warrior race', we are just very good at it because we had to deal with lions, bears, etc as we evolved. Eventually other humans were more dangerous than any other animals, so organized war was invented. Many people don't realise that (aside from the two most deadly wars in history), Earth has become far more peaceful. If pushed, though, we become fiendishly inventive and utterly ruthless.

If you are going to call hunting predators war, group hunting megafauna was the first organized war.

Our hands are specifically adapted to survive striking other humans skulls with a closed fist. We are literally adapted for aggrevated assault. Chimpanzees have thinner hand bones shaped differently because they do not punch the same way.

@@nvfury13 What the fuck makes you think I described early humans defending against predators or hunting megafauna as "war"? Chimpanzees have been known to kill other tribes, but they pick off individuals without risking injury. Only humans fight organised war or even understand the concept.

@@steffensgary That's complete bullshit mate. The worst place to strike with a fist is the skull, unless you want to break your fist. Our hands are actually adapted to optimise our fine-motor skills. Chimps and other great apes rely on raw strength that far exceeds our own, but we proved much better at throwing stones and using pointy sticks, and so on.

@@kerwinbrown4180 honestly i haven't watched since DS9, so have no idea what specifically u mean. but yes, assimilation is quite popular among humans, at least in groups. though it won't help make my long boring work days go faster since i work alone , primarily watching security monitors in a red cross blood donation center after hours.

The whole "humans kept our history secret" feels wrong because of how much of that info is public knowledge. Edit: Oh wait, forgot about that part at the end. Still not sure we'd keep our history secret even then.

Well, it’s a matter of “If this secret is not kept a lot of innocent people die” Keeping such grand secrets honestly isn’t to hard to imagine. Especially if it is made into NOT common knowledge. Only passed around government officials and the like. With civilians mostly only knowing that war happened because of something in their history. And thus not being told history beyond what aliens also would know

We may not be a race of warriors, but amongst Humanity there are a lot of warrior Clans examples include the Zulus the Japanese Samurai the Mongol Warriors the Apaches in the Sioux and I could think of more if I really wanted to spend the time doing so my point being that it's not fair to say with a fair blanket that all Humanity are not Warriors

Humans are pretty peaceful...until they aren't. Then territorial maps get redrawn, entire populations go missing, and warfare technology advances tenfold.
