for the art cards in the Young Guns steelbook, I really like it SO much better when they feature unique artwork like this (nice new artwork to look at), rather than just screenshots from the movie (boring/kinda pointless)

My favorite steelbook of 2023 is the 4k steelbook of The Black Phone from Turbine Germany. It even has a different good transfer than the US release got.

We didn't get young guns unfortunately in uk. So my No1 is sleepy hollow 4k steelbook.

Thanks Adam, FYI Best Buy is already stop some 4k orders saying will not be filled, Sad say as I have spent 10k at Best Buy on movies over the years SAD DAY!!!!!!

My top 10 4K SteelBooks of 2023 are: M3GAN, Prey, Evil Dead Rise, The Exorcist, Fall, The Twilight Saga SteelBook Set, The Resident Evil SteelBook Set, Sleepy Hollow, Young Guns, and The Superman SteelBook Set.

A lot of gorgeous steels there, I wish that they'd release both versions at once, I hate it when the slip is released & then some time later they release the steel version. Tbh I didn't realise that Dragonslayer was that amazing. ( Think I messed up with that purchase haha ) , if I prefer the steel I will always buy it over the Slip anyday, ie The Fugitive is a prime example. The Fog & Army of Darkness are others. Can't wait for your reviews of the rest of the Cameron's, esp as I've heard back things about True Lies, in T2 problems.

Another stellar Top Ten List. I’m not that aggressive about collecting steelbooks, they are prone to scratches and dents. I keep my collection in mylar bags and the SBs don’t fit. I love it when the come with a stiff plastic sleeve. I wish they would put the same energy in the art work on the standard slip releases.

DUEL takes the #1 spot for me. Ninja Turtles is top 5. I have it displayed with the back art out. It looks so good. Edit. I just checked and They Live also came out at the beginning of this year. That would be #2 for me.

On another note, why do suppliers have different release times for 4K's for different regions. 4K's are region free. So imo they should be released globally at the same time

First off Adam, damn your beard grew quick. I 💯 % agree with your list. I'd give Honorable Mentions to the following Steelbooks Gran Turisimo, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse (Both US & International) from Columbia/Sony Mission Impossible:7 Dead Reckoning (Both US & International) my pick is the International from Paramount. The Blob "88", Point Break, Pumpkinhead, & They Live from Shout Factory.

I don't understand the hype for the Oppenheimer steelbook - it's just fire! I actually prefer the alternate steelbook artwork, which was good for my wallet, cos it cost me only 25 euro, whilst the one featured here now sells for 4x the price on eBay.

I did not buy any of these. Not really buying steelbooks anymore and I don't want 4K. The only one on this list I like and would buy is the Maltese Faclon.

Dragonslayer, omg saw it in the summer what a load of Rubbish, hard to follow, and dated cgi too, Clash of the Titans original is better even though not on steelbook .
