Welcome to another of my guides to give 10 tips I wish I knew before taking out the A-4 in multiplayer in DCS for the first time. As with all similar guides this is aimed at people who understand the basics, are ready to head onto their first real multiplayer match, and just want some added advice to smooth out that first flight. DECM... Off/Standby/Recieve/Repeat. Go from REC to RPT when you fence in. Vice versa on the way out.

I am a big fan of the A4 :) Such a cool module, keeps energy very nice in the dogfights! Thanks for making this tips video! I do have two questions, maybe someone watching this will know the answers Can the A4 use radio-navigation stations other than TACANs? The Syria Map is very sparse with TACAN stations for example- when playing on it on ECW, there isn't much to find your way around if you don't want to look into the map. Do we have more than one radio in the A4? I mean when I am on ECW I see 3 channels (with SRS connected) in the A4- but I can't switch to the 2nd and 3rd :(

One thing: don’t forget to fuse the bombs. Otherwise it’s just a big weight of metal you are dropping.

You can leave guns armed and fire a2a missiles Not sure about the other systems though

I'm still trying to work out how to setup brakes (With the latest update, it now has more options with no explanation ) on a logitech 3d extreme pro, it was easier using a xbox controller... And Trim is messed up some how, i trim and it keeps moving in that direction, tap opposite trim and it keeps moving in that direction, SO annoying...

@@R0d_1984 not sure how best to with a Logitech. Pedals help a great deal. I can only suggest key binds. Trimming works fine for me though. It's a pretty early jet so it's a little bit tricky with the trim. I honestly don't touch the roll trim except after asymmetrically dropping ordinance, so just to pitch trim until it doesn't require much to keep it level

dualshock or dualsense with gyro to mouse for head tracking is just better
