Dude i suggest you try HBM's Nuclear Tech Mod in 1.7.10, The guns are absolutely crazy and good enough quality for the place, You also get to have Turrets, Missiles, Nukes, You name it, Also the "tech mod" aspect itself is just crazy fun, Absolutely underrated, Best tech mod to ever exist even better than greg, Yes i know someone else already suggested but im gonna put this again :^) Another one for 1.7.10 is prob the flan's mod, Especially the WW3 and Machetemen community pack yes, A crap lot of guns.

Try decimation mod, it is a mod with zombies, guns and lots of building blocks and armour and other stuff. The guns are pretty good too

I prefer to keep it simple without addons: just a heavy rifle (reloading after every shot), a shotgun and an assault rifle. If I believe I have overused guns a little too kuvh, I'll use up a fully enchanted infinity bow (on hostile mobs, not just shooting to break it.) to balance it.
