@@WillScarlet16 I think Bluth's worst creations could be partly blamed on studios that only wanted money and plain safe. Bluth was the one who wanted to use dark topics in animated movies, but many weren't ready to take the risk.

You could make an enlargement that the 'terror' of their presence is villainous, in a way. It's certainly not beneficial or neutral to the heroes, who run away out of fright. It only serves the villain for the do-gooders to not be able to solve the mystery -- which they can't do if they're running for their lives. :P

Sea shanties are amazing! I love them personally. And yes! Prince of Egypt has a truly masterful soundtrack! Every note of it is gold, just like the movie it was composed for!

i totally would have moved "toxic love" and "in the dark of the night" to #1 and 2 and put "you're a mean one Mr grinch" at #3

Totally agree with you. While "You're a Mean One, Mr. Grinch" is definitely a classic, its age alone seems to be the reason it one. I certainly deserves to be high on the list for various reasons, but frankly, "Toxic Love" and "In the Dark of the Night" were just better songs, not just musically, but for the way they drew you in to the character and their story.

I'm shocked that "Playing with the Big Boys" only got a #4. It should have been higher in my opinion. The beginning is so chilling.

On the road from Thumbelina is a villain song how?? No big and Loud from Cats Don't Dance? that song is about the star villain trying to destroy Danny and his friends because they are a threat to her

On The Road is classed as a villain song because one of the villains in the film (there's around 7 of them) is singing it, in total there are 3 villain songs in the film and none of them are very strong, that's one of the problems with having several antagonists in a kids film

"Bartok The Magnificent" aka Anastasia 2 has a great number where Ludmilla slowly turned into a dragon while singing "The Real Ludmilla" song. I would have picked that for #2 behind The Grinch :)

Oh, just as a quick little fact: The larger the heart, the more efficient a person's circulatory system. Due to this relation, professional athletes' slightly larger cardiac muscle tissue works much less to sustain their bodies, causing very low blood pressure. When blood pressure is low, stress is low. NOW the Grinch is clearly portrayed as someone with a small heart. Since it's so small, it would need to work much harder to sustain him, bringing his blood pressure insanely high, and definitely stressing him out to no end. NO WONDER HE HATES CHRISTMAS!

Yes,the early Barbie movies really have some catchy villain songs. I also like: I want it all from Barbie and the secret doors. It's one of the later movies but it's a pretty decent one and that song is hilarious.

Ruber? You seriously put Ruber on this list? NO, just no. He has no pacing at all, it sounds like he's just making up the lyrics as he goes, and that was one of the WORST songs in that movie, and frankly, all of the songs suck. Also did you know Ruber's voiced by Garry Oldman? Have a wonderful day!

In case you have listened to Disney villain songs yet when it comes to non-Disney villains, look no farther. How surprising that today, here on Christmas, perfect example how "You're a mean one, Mr. Grinch" would be topped at number 1! This song along with "toxic love" and "It's terror time again" are three my favorite non Disney animated villain songs because I watched and grew up with them.

I LOVE all of these movies!!! My childhood ♥♥♥ Though I disagree about a few being only "honorable mentions" when they should've been included on the list. The Swan Princess, Anastasia, and The Pebble and the Penguin are epic :D:D:D ahhh lol..."Don't make me laugh" is a fantastic villain song and I always laugh during it even today. XD

Given that over half the songs on this list are from films he's reviewed, (and most of those songs he's deliberately taken a stab at) I will have to say that you are right. I hate this list too, not WatchMojo's best. To be fair, there's just not a lot of great songs out there that aren't from Disney films, so they were kinda grasping at straws with this one, imo.

No, you didn't. In his quest for Camelot review he said it almost sounded like he was making it up as he went along, since the lyrics didn't go in time with the music. Also, I think Watchmojo were making this up as they went along, this was a great list idea but most of the songs they picked were awful. Also, why is the animation for hoodwinked so bad?! I mean, I've watched it and it's pretty entertaining, but it had a high budget (I assume since it partnered with McDonald's for there happy meals, but the animation just looks awful.
