I still say dying at the beginning of The Eminence in Shadow was intentional. He knew he would never get magic in the current world, so he intentionally met Truck-Kun head on.

The Faraway Paladin was a wonderful recommendation! Thank you very much I’m currently on episode 5 almost to 6 and it’s animation is beautiful as well as it’s story so far. The way you described it made me interested in it but you left out enough to where the viewers can still enjoy it! 10/10 for jobless reincarnation, i haven't seen other anime which you recommend but man literally jobless reincarnation was so good. I can't wait for its next season and story is also well written, dialogues are great, animation quality is also good. Everyone should give it a try atleast once

Arifureta could have been a good one to talk about too. Or tsuki michi. Also its important to recognize the distinction between reincarnation and isekai. Now that we are seeing more shows that are reincarnating into the same world and not a different world.

You're right about us fans wanting to keep watching formulaic isekai. I guess we do it in the vain hope of seeing something special, a diamond in the rough, a unique twist to an already tired (tiresome? lol) trope. Yet year after year, we have to sift through them all, not go insane with yet another display of magic power by blasting a row of dummies in the school yard or defeating a Class A/Level 100000/SS-Tier monster that even Platinum Rank adventurers don't stand a chance unless backed by an army of warriors/mages/heroes in a dungeon no less. Humans are weird like that
