Bill Burr also leans with his elbow on mic stand same as you on the bench. Now to mix tool talk and comedy in a routine and then do impressions of him in his comedic style..now that's a winner. The tool talks are great, thanks.

Only use a pickle fork on a joint you are replacing because it damages the boot and ball in the socket. I have never owned a pickle fork and get joints separated without breaking a sweat, with a front end service set. It comes with varies pullers that are used with an impact and the joint is not compromised.
@TonyTheTechnician

Joe Hearn ya I use the service set as well and most the time I can get them out with it or a hammer. Pickle fork is my last resort but still a great tool.

Learning a lot - thanks for the automotive tool tips. (Here's a tip back - at 12:30 & 15:30, it's "infra-red," not "inferred" to refer to the light spectrum it's using, not how the temperature is determined.)

A video series that would be awesome, and help your channel as well, would be like "5 tools that are helpful when doing an oil change" or "Tools that are helpful with (insert job here)". Just because i have tried talking other people into working on their own cars, but they never know what tools they need, or how much they cost, to see what the savings would be over time.

I never really understood the point of those angled head wrenches but can I see how they would help access things like suspension mounting bolts. Might have to get a set of those, in collision repair it's actually very common to have to R&R damaged suspension parts.

I am debating between that Matco spk6 spark plug sockets set and a Gearwrench/KD set with less coverage. Do you know the applications for the different 9/16" sockets? The 5 piece Gearwrench set only includes one. Thanks.

Just an idea...What is the verdict on used tools. I come across lots of posts on craigslist and FaceBook Market Place for Mechanics that are selling their tools. Some are retiring some for other reasons. How can one know how much to offer for used tools?

Thank you for bringing that to my attention. I will try to come back and edit the description for the links in this video. Love the anklet you have as well.

John Gibson maybe your talking about the videos that you see pop up that are like 2 or 4 min long. its bc i record clips and then upload them as private to youtube and then combine them all into one video but for some reason youtube acts funny and takes one of my clips from private to public lol. then people see a part of a video that I'm not ready to post yet lol
