Күн бұрынCyclops is one of the most beloved characters of the Marvel franchise. Born as Scott Summers, he’s a mutant with the ability to fire an optic blast from his eyes. He’s been through a great deal of character development, so today we'll be counting down the Top 10 Badass Cyclops Scenes.

Hand to hand, bouncing beams off of surfaces like Cap with his shield etc. I have faith in the MCU because so far, the fight choreography has been top notch.

People seem to forget that even though Storm,Cyclops,& Phoenix are all very powerful,in the films no one upstages Wolverine.everyone after that is just window dressing.

He did have his hand to hand combat in the movies .. but it was sadly one scene. Cyclops beat the fuck out of two security guards in X2 United when they kidnapped Xavier but Deathstrike caught him off guard.

he does not need a solo movie. he needs an x men movie that is focused on him. even if he gets himself a solo movie, it ends with everything being tied back to his team. he is the real heart and soul of the story.

Praveen Loganathan I agree, the MCU has to put the X-MEN in Cyclops’ leadership. That’s why is he so beloved in comics. The Fox films gave that to Logan.

The bad ass moment you forgot to put on the list was in Dark Phoenix when he was fighting Magneto for the first time. That was a first time in a movie to show a teenager going toe to toe with one of the strongest mutant to try to save Jean Grey...

He wasn't a teenager anymore in that movie. It was about ten years after Apocalypse. He'd have been in his twenties by then.

A movie centered on Cyclops' leadership and struggles, as well as exploring the personalities and interactions of the other members would make for a perfect X-Men movie. It's time we finally get one as it is long overdue.

The best moment in all these movies is in X3 the last stand, the conversation between Scott and Logan that ends with "we don't all heal as fast as you" Cyclops was well cast each time but unfortunately never truly written or directed well, the closest is possibly Dark Phoenix, I was so glad the movie focused on him at least a little bit

Number one rule if you want to make cyclops look great,.....make his beam thick. Just like in the comics, its a big and wide optic beam that looks menacing. Not those thin tiny beams we got in the movies.

You mean he shouldn't use focused beam, like at all, putting all the power in one place would pack a punch or cut like a knife, Cyclops is extremely skilled so I say let him use his ability affectively

So simple...follow the artwork and story lines of the comics. Jeesh, they've got the great John Byrne and Chris Claremont story arks and artwork to make into live action. Instead .... they Fcuk it Up!

I never felt Fox did the X-Men any justice, I could never get into the characters/movies. I’m so excited to see the depth the MCU is going to give them.

When you realize James Marsden was underused as Cyclops and probably re-wrote the significance of his character in LOGAN because he supposedly wrote the X-Men comics within the Movies plot.

You missed the part in X-Men Dark Phoenix where he did the bank shot when they were fighting Mags team on the street. I almost jump off my seat seeing him doing the bank shot in the big screen for the first time. Hoping to see more of that particular skill of him when he is finally introduced in the MCU.

Henry Cavill will hopefully give Cyclops the tactical brilliance,hand-to- hand combat scenes,& raw optical versatility in the reboots- if he's pegged to play him.James Marsden made a good Cyclops,but his potrayel didn't show no stratigic brilliance or hand to hand.Cyclops is a master fighter.

What I hold against the films is how narrow they make the optic blasts when Scott has the visor off. Any true Cyclops fan knows that when the visor comes off, Scott’s entire field of vision gets blasted.

Yeah ! You are right , but in my opinion ,that was more of a Sabertooth bad ass moment, than a Cyclops bad ass moment because Sabertooth grabbed him which made him accidentally blew half of the school , which is why I didn't count it, but you did make a good observation , so you get the points.

Cyclops,s beam does not generate any heat ( like superman,s heat vision ) rather it produces concussive force , large amounts of force , which can tear metal , slice objects etc but it never leaves a fiery trail behind like superman,s heat vision would .

My issue with Cyclops’s laser beam is the inconsistency. It sometimes cuts through metal and burns everything in its way, but when it hits people, it just pushes them away.

2:05 I think this is the only moment of all the movies where they show on a more faithfully way the power of Scott's eyes without his visor. Dude shoots a super kamehameha from his eyes.

my favorite. The scene that stuck with me the most was when he blasted into the water screaming “stooop” since then whenever I wear glasses it reminds me of that scene. (First x men movie I watched) Plus his power is so simple yet cool and powerful.

He can't due to his head injury back when he was a kid. When Scott and his brother Alex jumped out of the plane, Scott hit his head really bad when they both land. Causing him to pass out temporarily.

I’m actually kind of sad, the fact that cyclops is considered to be the leader of x-men in comics however the spot light and the focus is taken away by other characters... even in early games cyclops have always been the leading member of team

Jean puts the visor telekinetically, NOT telepathically. Her telekinesis is her power to move things with her mind, not her telepathy power.
