Superman is no doubt one of the top fan favourite heroes all time. With his complex moral ethical issues, family concerns and CGI moustache problems, this hero is not without his own problems. But at the end of the day, he’s one hero you can count on to do a thorough job of saving the day. I mean, we did have to resurrect him in the movie right after he was killed. That’s how much the universe missed him.Given his indestructible powers, Superman has a ton of badass scenes and you guys seemed to have enjoyed our previous compilation. That’s why we’re back with Volume 2 of the Top 10 Badass Superman Scenes

Christopher reeves is not the flashiest superman movies, but EVERY TIME I see him on screen as the character. Superman 1 through 4. He embodies so much of the pure hearted clark Kent/ Superman that I MISS from modern day Superman Stories. It is such a breath of fresh air seeing it again after seeing brooding superman after brooding superman, evil superman evil superman story.

I didn’t like MoS at first until I listened intently to the Hans Zimmer soundtrack and now I really really like it. The soundtrack brings it more life for sure.

@@marquisbenton I'd say Batman Begins, Iron Man, Man of Steel, Wonder Woman, X-Men First Class. The Batman could sneak in there though depending on further rewatches

The flight scene with Lois is one of my favorites. It makes Aladdin and Jasmine's magic carpet ride look like a taxi. I loved the song "A Whole New World", but the flight scene in Superman is the real deal.

My favorite part.....is how guilty Batman felt. I've always said Bats is a Douche, he's evenstated "deep down, I'm not a very good person"...he was racked w/ guilt over trying to kill him and treating him like a villian...that would be my favorite.

Martha Kent made Superman what he became. She didn't just raise a mild mannered reporter for a great metropolitan newspaper. She raised the man of steel, the big blue boy scout, the greatest superhero that Earth will ever know. Thank you Martha.

Every time I see the scene when Superman and Lois fly together I start that inner monologue, "Can you read my mind? Do you know what it is that you do to me?..." It really is like when your crush walks by and gives you that little smile and you feel like your heart is pounding out of your chest and you suddenly hope that he can't read your mind but also wishing he could. It's such a sweet and cute moment in that movie.

You need to do a Vol 3..... Superman stops nuclear missile from destroying Hackensack, NJ-"Superman The Movie." Superman saves California(repairs San Andreas fault, saves train from derailing, saves schoolbus from falling from Golden Gate Bridge, saves town from Hoover Dam collapse, etc....)-"Superman The Movie." Superman saves Metropolis from massive gas explosion with superbreath-"Superman Returns." Superman saves Mr. White from falling Daily Planet globe-"Superman Returns." Superman saves Air Force One from crashing and gives a salute to the co-pilot-"Superman The Movie." Superman hurls General Zod into a Coca-Cola neon sign-"Superman II."

Not necesarily, at that point in his life, he is still figuring out who and what he is and likely doesn't know the extent of his powers. There are a few sources that show there are limits to his powers and he needs time to recover if he over exerts himself. So the power of the explosion combined with having just used an enormous amount of strength could have knocked the wind out of him or even put him out cold for a while. It is also established that even though he can go long periods without it, he still needs air at some point to keep on living. So in theory he could have drowned...

Umm, nice piece, but why on earth would you emphasize him lifting half of a boat and barely mention the island? I'm sure we all agree that lifting an island filled with kryptonite is by far the greater feat of strength. It's definitely a badass moment.

@@sarathomas8499 In the comics she is as physically strong as Superman though in the movies she may be a bit weaker by default.. still it was a Kryptonite tipped spear, Lois could have stabbed Doomsday with it if she could get close enough. Problem was it was also weakening Superman while he was holding it, Diana could have held it with no negative effects, thus she should have been the one to stab him Lol just my thoughts.

@@swordchannelfires Why Batman ...? ... because out of all the Superheroes, even Ironman, he's still very much human ... In fact, given his tragic backstory, I personally think he's even better than Ironman, as he knows his limitations ... yet works with them ... Which is my stupid way of saying the fact that Superman treats Batman as an equal, despite Batman having no superpowers, nor a powered armour suit (except that one time ...), says a huge amount about both ...
