That’s so awesome to hear!! We’re glad we’ve given you some inspiration! Keep it up and the growth will come! I’ve been fishing it my whole life and grew up just outside of the park also, and worked in there as an Interior Ranger for 2 seasons. Stream trout fisherman from Michigan. Worms are the go to but some streams are gear restrictions so for those stretches I use panther martins in gold or yellow with red dots

I fish streams and ponds in the Adirondacks. I use mepps, panther martins, and rapala countdown. I really like those for artificial lures

Thanks for the comment! I have out Amazon links to most lures in the video description also if that helps! 😁 All of those lures work amazingly! I’ve had a few guys mention rapalas now and that’s one things I’ve never really used for Brookies, but definitely gonna start! Thanks for watching and supporting 😁

Thanks for the video Brandon! Hopefully I can get into the park this year! I love the silver Blue Fox but the Black Fury, especially in the chartreuse colour, is HANDS DOWN my favourite!! Might be the nostalgia around it but I throw it a lot! The last few years I have been throwing swimbaits on jig heads for brookies...a lot easier than dealing with live/salted bait IMO and the baits can generally last multiple fish.

Thanks for watching!! I appreciate it! I hope you can too, it’s always so worth it regardless of the fishing results! Always new water to explore! I have a few chartreuse, it’s important to always try different colours and see what works! I’ve never used swimbaits or rubber baits for trout but have had a few guys mention it!

I notice on panthermartins the body will eventually move up pressing the wire out. Once it's done that the blade will stick. I tried bending them back but very little success. Blue fox tend to not do those types of things. I feel you get way more use out of them compared to panthermartins but they produce fish so I keep buying them. Just learned to buy a couple at a time.

I really enjoy your videos. You are truly blessed to have access to such good fishing. I occasionally fish for brook trout here south of the border but its not that good and the fish are small. Glad you share some of your lure choices. I am curious if you prefer any particular color black fury spinner ( yellow, chartreuse, or red) and are the dressed ones more sucessful than the plain hooks. I have never caught a trout on one of those here for some reason. I mainly use flies but have some luck with roostertail spinners.
