Nathan Lane and Ernie Sabella as Timon and Pumbaa are my personal favorites, and probably the most dynamic duo Disney has ever created, and played a major part in making _The Lion King_ as amazing as it is. But, I have to admit, thanks to Robin Williams, The Genie simply is better, in fact, he's the best side character ever, to the point where he almost feels like the main character.

Agree. Disney choose talent over big names. Beyonce once showed interest to be Tiana voice actor. The catch? She didn't want to go through audition. Disney said nope, and go with Anika Noni Rose, who got the role through proper auditions.

I know that Angela Lansbury is iconic but I kinda wished that you had said all three sidekicks. Lumiere and Cogsworth are so iconic and so good. Especially Lumiere. The man (well candlestick) just radiates French and is super classy and hilarious

Indeed. So sad that he hung himself in his own house and was found dead. Apparently he suffered from depression and other mental health problems. R.I.P Genie 🧞♂️ 🙏

Anyone feel these Disney sidekicks should've gotten on the list: .John Fiedler as Piglet from the Winnie the Pooh franchise .Jack McBrayer as Fix It Felix from Wreck It Ralph .Phil Harris as Little John, or Terry Thomas Sir Hiss from Robin Hood .Junius Matthews as Archimedes from The Sword in the Stone .Bill Thompson as Mr. Smee from Peter Pan

I think the actors who voiced the Dwarves at least deserved an honorable mention. I loved Patrick Warburton as Kronk-he was the best part of that movie!

Very greats the sidekicks voices actors: The Genie, Mushu, Olaf and Timón and Pumba (the best sidekicks in all Disney plus their songs).. They did deserve to be at the top of the top, who else could have interpreted them? They really brought their characters to life and even improvised some of their lines

I love the emperor’s new groove! “Pull the lever, Kronk! WRONG LEVER!!!!! Why do we even have that lever?” 🤣 Kronk always cracked me up pulling the wrong lever! Patrick Warburton made him such a lovable and funny, albeit dim-witted, character. Still, I wish he was #2 instead of #3… by all accounts it doesn’t make sense 🤪

While I applaud the late but awesomely funny charms of Robin Williams as Genie (well deserved placing in the list), I also especially love the late Angela Lansbury as Mrs Potts and her beautiful warm rendition of Beauty and the Beast.

Thank goodness Josh gad aka olaf got on the list especially since it has been announced that we're getting a frozen 3 so hopefully we will see him reprise the role for the upcoming third movie I can't wait to see Olaf and the rest of the frozen gang on screen again for the upcoming frozen 3.

I will always love Genie. He’s my favorite but I was very surprised that Robin Williams still voiced him in an Aladdin computer game. It’s called Math Quest with Aladdin. He still makes impersonations in the game and it still makes me laugh.

if I'm guessing correctly the late and greatest Robin Williams as Genie is number 1 as no one brings a character to life as he did. RIP Robin Williams, those that grew up with you in their lives still miss you to this day

Oh boy, I am mad as a hornet! You relegated my great uncle, who absolutely DEFINED the concept of a Disney sidekick to the same level as freaking Ray, the gargoyles, and Turk? I mean he doesn't beat Robin Williams but for damn sure he's more iconic than the mice from Cinderella or Kronk (Don't get me wrong, I love the mice and I adore Kronk). You only passed him up because it's an older movie. The usual Millennial entitlement!

For me if I would to pick a sidekick that Eddie Murphy voiced it would be donkey I love his Portrayal of donkey in the shrek movies he does such a great job at portraying a funny slightly annoying but very loyal character he’s so good he also some. Love the list, but I think Phil Harris (Baloo) should have been in the main list; especially since he voiced 3 sidekick characters. Baloo, Little John in Robin Hood and To. O’Malley in Aristocats.

Sam e Wright was a great actor who voiced as Sebastian from the little mermaid and Robin Williams was great actor too who voiced as Geine from Aladdin and may rest in peace for two actors and they are missed 😢😢

Back to the third HM (actually, 3rd through 5th in one), you forgot one: Jane Withers. Mary Wickes didn't live to do *all* of her lines, so Jane Withers stepped in for the rest; however, there's no telling when it was Mary speaking, and when it was Jane.)
