I'm so happy you guys included Maaveeran because yes it's so underrated ❤ For me, it's like Master, "mass with class" like it's a mass movie but they're doing something different with it. But Maaveeran has better storyline and more unique premise. Love both though. And some of the movies here I'm gonna check out soon. You guys picked really good films ❤😊

Yayyy korbin!Appreciate ur honesty....There were definitely better movies than rocky aur rani bt I bet even Rick cant sit thru most of the movies he mentioned more than once...It is about which movie u liked the most n Kjo's movies always have that lil smthin in them that they can be watched over multiple times without getting bored maybe cos of that lil bit of old school charm he brings into his movies.Rick chose cinematically the most brilliantly made films n korbin chose the one that made his heart happy..

One of the reasons I check your reviews for a film is that you both have so different tastes for the films. So if a film is liked by you both, that must be a great movie in all aspects. Glad that you both liked "Nanpakal Nerathu Mayakkam" as it was my fav for 23 and I dont understand Malayalam. It was in my head for a week and i pleaded so many of friends and relatives to watch.

As many have said it here, please watch *12th Fail* guys. It is without a doubt one of the best movies of the year! One of the sweetest and endearing movies I've watched in recent times. The last one was Thiruchitrambalam.

I'm with Korbin. I also absolutely love Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani. It's my favourite Hindi film of the year.

PS 2 Shakespearean Scene between Nandini and Aditha was hands down the most perfectly crafted scene of this year. Music, set design, lighting, costumes and the performances that reached that crescendo.. Like both your lists..i am still making mine

100% Agree with Korbin in regards to my no 1 this year. Rocky aur Rani takes the cake. I've watched that movie 5 times and still enjoyed every moment. For me its one of those films i can put on anytime and enjoy. Even though we had phenomenonal movies this year, RARKPK is still my no 1 🙈

Leo was nice, as is Salaar. Jailer was rather average and overhyped.. Jawan was more fun (much like KGF2 / Salaar). Maaveran, PS-2, Joram, Sirf Ek Bandaa all great! Vicky Kaushal also had a strong year with 3 good films. Love Lokesh and Fahadh F films in general. Also, TYFC was such a letdown by Bhumi and co.

Leo was a really really good film. All the hate was for a variety of other reasons except the movie itself🤣 you ll need context of fan wars in tamil cinema. There is big contention of numero uno going on in tamil cinema currently.

PS2 was really good. It was much better than PS1! The performances from. Vikram and Aishwarya, the action sequences and the unravelling of the mysteries all elevated this film. It was what I had hoped from Part 1 actually, finally delivered.

Gosh korbin..this is one of the rare times I am with Rick...can't believe rocky Aur Rani is your number 1 favourite..this movie was just ok and my least favourite from karan..I feel since it was a karan movie it received the hype..can't believe you will rate it as the 'number one best Indian movie from 2023 😊' and your topmost favourite

Rocky aur Rani may not be the best movie of all time.. But it's all the reasons we watch Indian cinema and Bollywood. It also allowed KJo to take command of his kind of cinema and still evolve. Its a great watch we cannot deny it

Guys I feel if your criteria is which one is your favourite and rewatchable then maybe change the title of your video...if you keep this as criteria, many movies that are not probably easily rewatchable but deserve respect for merit, will lose out. YES!!! So exciting to see that Rocky aur Rani made into the list, thank you Korbin. It is my favorite Hindi film this year, I too can watch this movie on repeat. It is a very feel-good movie and I think it deserves to be in the top 10. I know it is not the best especially for the movie critics etc. but the fun factor, and emotions this movie evokes makes your heart happy. People can make fun of him and his movies all they want, but any movie that KJo has made so far can be watched repeatedly, and it eventually becomes part of the pop culture and that for me is a brilliant film maker.

And they made a list without the best film of the year which is 12th Fail...!! 😐😐

12 fail is my best film in 2023, truly inspiring and true story ❤

My top 10 indian movies this year is as follows ( logically I can only include movies I have seen): 1. Chiththa (tamil) 2. OMG2 (hindi) 3. Maaveeran (taml) 4. Por Thozhil (tamil) 5. Dasara ( telugu) 6. Virupakshaa (telugu) 7. 2018 (malayalam) 8. Iratta (malayalam) 9. Dada (tamil) 10. Good Night (tamil) Box office wise I think Bollywood established the balance once again by saving the cinema industry with biggest blockbusters. Contentwise I think Kollywood, Mollywood, Sandalwood had some great releases this year. The dissapointment has to be Tollywood with small budget movies making it bigger, and big budget movies making less. Moreoever its problematic for telugu distributors when stars like Jr Ntr, Allu Arjun, Mahesh Babu, Ram Charan doesn't have a single release in a year.
