My mom loved collecting kid's meal toys. She had TONS of them and kept them in a big plastic box...me and my sister had a lot of fun playing with them growing up. Damn I miss my mom :(. We'd sometimes go to McDonalds just to pick up a couple of kid's meals for the toys when I was an adult lol.

@Amy Hess they used to put our happy meals in a plastic container you could reuse to go trick or treat. Like ghost, witch,and pumpkin. It had a lid and handle to carry it.

some of the disney happy meal toys were the better action figure even better then the real expesnive action figure from Mattel ... examples include Hook , Shanyu , All Hercules toys , Monster Inc... etc.

This was so nostalgic. I forgot about Furbies. That was a huge fad when i was a kid. Never had a tamogotchi, though i wanted one. Also i thought McDonalds had a special gold Pokemon card for their happy meals around the time the first Pokemon movie came out. Though it could have been BK. I get their toys mixed up. lol

How could you leave out the most popular girls toy of all time... Barbie! I collected the McBarbies myself and I loved them almost as much as the real Barbie dolls they represented. And now even they are sought after by collectors. My Camp Barbie McBarbies (1994) are now going for $20 to $30 each, which is much more than the real doll is worth today. And not to forget Barbie's counterpart, Hot Wheels cars. I didn't collect those but it wouldn't surprise me to find out that some of the McHot Wheels were special versions for Happy Meals only and that was the only way you could get one.

Mcdonalds really go after children. They make their reward system go insane after they get fastfood and a free toy! Also it's free of cost since their parents buy it

I got the changeable toys in flea market bags and absolutely loved them. Next time I go to a flea market if I encountered them I might buy them.

McDonald's collaborated with transformers and I had gotten some happy meals as a child during the time. What was in those boxes were real articulatable transformers action figures that came with a small blaster stick that could be inserted into the arm of the toy and shoot out. I collected Bumblebee, Megatron, and Cybertron. They were personally the best toys of McDonald's ever.

I actually have this vintage woody on a horse from toy story’s that’s a bubble gum dispenser and you can press the toy down to move the horse around. It’s a huge toy

My opinion soo my favorite happy meal toys! Those holiday bears from 2015 or 2016, those my little pony toys back in 2014?, those beanie boos back in 2013? I dont remember the dates argh. The spider man toys back in 2015 i think, they had a girl and boy version, and those littlest pet shop too!
