United Abominations took a long time to grow on me. But now that it has. It's badass. The guitar work is amazing, it's so technical. The lyrics are some of the best Dave has ever written. Killer album !

I wish that Kreator, Destruction and Sodom would have made your list: Phantom Antichrist, Hordes of Chaos, Gods of Violence, Decision Day, Genesis XIX, Born to Perish (just to mention a few) are killer-albums! And yes: compared to the 90's stuff, Death Magnetic and Hardwired.. are strong Metallica-Albums. Nevertheless: Keep going, Bryce!

Do you know a band called Lost Society, they have released a couple brilliant thrash albums. In their newest one they changed their style and although imo still kickass but not thrash anymore so I leave it out, but the other three 'Braindead', 'Terror Hungry' and 'Fast Loud Death' are so good. Check out song and video 'Hangover Activator' from the Braindead album.✌💯

A lot of us have Anthrax on the brain right now because of the awesome KZfaq documentaries they just finished putting out. Have you been watching them? If not, I highly recommend you do. I've been a fan since 1987 and gave their newer stuff a chance since watching that.

Going to Megadeth, Lamb of God and Trivium in September. Formation of Damnation/Dark Roots from Testament would be in my list along with most of yours. I've never heard of Paradox, so thanks, I'll check 'em out.

Perfect pick for #1. Saw the show for this tour a couple times and loved all the new members, esp. Glen Drover. Also wish James LoMenzo would return - as much as I dig Ellefson and his lifelong contribution to the band, the two albums with LoMenzo are absolutely the best two, bass guitar wise.

I appreciate how Bryce always finds a way to bring up Jeff Waters in his videos. Dude is easily among the finest guitar players in metal history and hardly ever gets any recognition. Face melting guitar work, consistently, and his leads are second to none. If you are new to metal, listen to Bryce, he might be young but he definitely knows what's up.

Hard for me to pick between Endgame and United. Both are so damn good. I would have placed Anthrax "For all Kings" on the list. Fantastic album!🤘

Wow! I'd wondered what happened to Ken Mary. I loved his work on both Fifth Angel albums. I think he may have toured with Alice Cooper somewhere in the ninties as well.

I was impressed to see a Paradox album on here as well as mention of Artillery. What about Accuser though? Agitation and their self-titled album are killer in my opinion. I’m also puzzled about Ironbound. To me it sounds uninspired, especially following Immortalis. Totally agree with the Megadeth choices. Those two albums are amazing!

In my opinion United Abominations is the best Megadeth album of 2000s. It is quite overlooked to be honest. There’s zero fillers on the album, including a tout le monde cover feels very perky to the original and the guest vocals of Cristina Scabbia fit the remake very perfectly. Back in 2007 when I was 17 I had heard some Megadeth songs here and there (mostly the mainstream ones), but this was my serious gateway to the band, after which I became a huge fan. Therefore this album will always have a special place in my heart.

I thought United Abominations is so bad. Megadeth’s “13” is my nr1 new album. Then Exumers “Fire and damnation”, Exhorder’s “Mourn the Southern Skies”, and Heathen’s “Empire of the Blind” are true gems!!!!!!

Hardwired - Metallica: Great first half of the album which sounds like it was ripped from the 80’s; second half a bit more experimental which keeps things fresh

Exhibit B great choice, so heavy, good writing, dueling solos, killer chugging riffs. Endgame never gets old i swear and can listen all the way through good pick. Ironbound is a modern classic beginning to end. Id pick relentless retribution for death angel, gritty, lots of speed, catchy chorus.
