Started watching you when I was 11 or 12. I'm 21 now. Thanks for 10 great years, man. You've mentioned that you want your channel to be a place to take a break from the world, and I think I speak for a lot of us when I say that you've definitely achieved that. Watching your videos, new or old, is like wrapping yourself in a blanket your mom gave you for your tenth birthday, that you still carry with everywhere. At least that's what it's like for me. I wish you all the best, and I look forward to every video to come.

Related to the appreciation at the end, I want to express some appreciation too: you are the king of consistency. Your content has never stagnated, even though the formula has largely stayed the same over the years. It’s great to have your content as a reliable home base of sorts: no matter how much time goes by, I can check in on a Jeremy review and know what I’m getting. And again, that’s not to say you’ve stagnated, because I really don’t think you have. I think you’ve just gotten better and better, and I think we’ve also seen you grow as a critic and as a person. For the last couple years I’ve continually had the thought “you know, I think this is the best Jeremy’s content has ever been”, and I still have that thought now. Thanks for all the years of reviews, and thanks for always bein’ there.

I started watching you when I was a freshman and a foreign exchange student in the USA. I barely spoke English back then. This was way back in 2010. I've always loved movies and I can't help but to think that it was one of the reasons of how I learned the language so quickly. It's so satisfying being able to see the actors act with their real voice instead of hearing someone's else voiceover in a different tongue. I can't never go back. What I like about your channel is how similar your opinion usually is to mine. Most of the time when you review a movie you hit the same points that I thought about, and you are the only KZfaqr that I feel connected to because of how similar your taste in movies is to mine. I gotta say that after more than 10 years there has been a couple of movies that you recommended and I didn't quite like, or the other way around. But 80% of the time we've been on the same page and thanks to you I have watched some very good films that I may had miss otherwise. So thank you Jeremy for all the content all these years. I don't normally write KZfaq comments but today I felt like thanking you. So as another movie buff but from a different country, keep being awesometacular :)

2022 was an AMAZING COMEBACK YEAR FOR FILMS. You could tell so many creators were itching to really come back to the world of cinema with a bang and make *big* movies with such grand scales (Everything Everywhere, The Northman, The Batman, Top Gun, Bullet Train) while simultaneously you had other filmmakers really trying to get as deep & introspective as possible (The Whale, The Inside Outtakes & Tar), at times there were even both (Nope, Bardo, Decision to Leave, Guillermo Del Toro's Pinocchio)! So so so happy about this year (for films at least. I definitely relate to the personal head space you described. However, I never would've guessed you were in such a head space, as your positivity has been a consistent highlight in this space. Hang in there Jeremy!)

I started watching around 2010 in high school. Since then I went through college, my post college years trying to figure myself out, and now finally figuring out what I want to do with my life. You, Chris Stuckman and AVGN have been constants in my life through so many things and I'm always grateful that you're still around.

Yoo happy to see RRR made the list! Also, just realized I’ve been watching you for more than 10 years at this point. My first move after watching any movie is to look up your review to see what you thought, and I’ve watched so many movies that I otherwise would never have even heard of! Thanks for always being there, and always being honest Jeremy

Hey Jeremy, I’ve been watching your reviews since Middle School and am now in my last year in college. I’ve always loved the passion you display in your reviews and I think the way you analyze them is exactly how reviewers should analyze them (focusing on watchability in a non-pretentious way). I really admire that. Thanks for all the content and reviews over the years and happy to continue going straight to you whenever a new movie comes out that I’m curious about watching. Hope 2023 is great for you!

The ending to this video got me wistful and nostalgic, so I'll wax poetic a little. I started watching your channel a decade ago now. KZfaq was a different animal back then - halfway between the charming low-quality home videos of the mid 2000s and the corporate hellscape it is today. Back then it was right in the sweet spot for fun, well produced yet enjoyable and *relatable* content and content creators. I discovered this channel at a very formative time in my pre-teens, as my love for film was growing and developing. It is absolutely not hyperbole to say that, without this channel and your videos, I would be a different person than I am today. Over the years my tastes evolved away from the mainstream and into the kinds of films that like-minded people would call more "artistic". Naturally, it also meant it evolved away from your own tastes and the types of films/shows/games you cover. But through all that, I never stopped watching this channel. Maybe it was because I still found value in hearing from a more "mainstream" sensibility than my own - or maybe it was because you always came across as unpretentious, genuine and, above all, relatable (there's that word again)... I suppose the phrase "I'd like to grab a beer with him" applies here. It's fucking crazy that it's been that long since I discovered this channel. Even crazier that, as I was watching the end of this video, I started noticing the little grey spots in your beard and your hair. It gave me this flashback to the 20 something year old dude with an earring I first saw when I was in 7th grade. And you know what? It felt nice to look back. Thank YOU Jeremy, and keep being real. We'll keep watching.

You and Stuckmann are the only movie reviewers I listen to(I listen to people with like minds. If I never like the movies Peter Travers likes, why follow his opinion? Lol). I got on the train a little later-I think it’s was somewhere around 2016. But when my youngest son was born and spent his first month in the hospital, I watched almost all of your videos. They kept me entertained, kept my mind off of things, and made me laugh-so thanks for that!

Thank you for the video Jeremy! I think of Violent Night as John Wick as Santa Claus. Bullet Train is on my list too. I love David Harbour and Hiroyuki Sanada. They're fun to watch! I'm pretty sure that I saw the trailer for The Menu and it didn't give anything away. It was a messed up movie and I'm happy that I got to see it with my family on Christmas, just like I saw the original Grinch special with my family on Christmas. I did have a happy Christmas. I hope you had a happy Christmas too! As for gaming, it looks like my favourite so far is Baldur's Gate 3 as you can tell from my channel. 😄

Everything Everywhere was such a special movie to me this year. It showed a heartwarming and yet upsetting story of an immigrant family trying to keep themselves up all wrapped up in a fantastical “what if things were different?” bow. Absolutely loved it, the villain was amazing and every single actor brought something special to it. My film of the year for sure
