I played with Xiom Offensive S. It's an All wood blade but it was too slow because I improved. I'm getting older so more power with the body is difficult to achieve. So I switched to Sanwei V5 Pro. It really helped. The handle is really good. Now I just focus more on control in training. Thank you, coach.

It's 2023 and I'm still playing with good old Nittaku Acoustic. I've got 3 of them. How old is this design? Probably older than most top players these days. Tried different blades, but always come back to my Acoustic. It's like old comfy slippers you have been wearing for years. Extension of your hand? You bet. ))

You should prepare a video similar to this one,but without butterfly and DHS equipments. Those brands are all the time. So avoiding those ones can be interesting... especially to see more options. Even you could include good blades with a price lower than 100 dollars, then over a hundred dollars. The same with rubbers... So we can have a larger variety...🥇🥈👌🏓

im using a harimoto, it is noticible slower but the control and the feeling are amazing, rubbers: victas V22 forehand and rakza 7 backhand

I have about 15 blades. I finally tried the W968 and IMEDIATELY I knew it was the blase for me. Hands down. the others dont even come close. Lots and lots of CONTROL. Its like magic.

I'm using a viscara. It's been the best blade I've used for years now. Using nittaku fastarc g1 on my back hand and donic acuda s1 turbo on my forearm

I used Yinhe Pro 01X with Joola Rhyzen Fire - FH & Ice -BH. Then i upgraded to Stiga Cyber shape Carbon CWT with DNA hybrid (M) - FH & DNA Hybrid (H) - BH and in few days i will be setting up MJ S-ZLC with D09C - FH & Ten05 - BH... Can't wait to get my hands on it.😊

Im using butterfly Kenta ALC. FH Victas V22 DE and BH Dignics 05. Balance setup for speed, spin and control. Quite high throw angle FH & BH. Looking forward to find a-bit lower throw set up combination for FH

Blade: Joola Zhou Qihao 90 with Xiom Vega X in max on Vh and Bh. I Loved it!!!

Coach, thank you for the content. I’m playing with a Xiom Zetro Quad (do you know this blade?). I’m thinking in changing for a Viscaria Super ALC because I feel more comfortable with a fast game, but I’m afraid to get a too fast blade. What do you think? Is my current blade slow?

you might opt for the fzd alc, also the rubber choice is something to bew considered, i personally love the dhs rubbers on forehand. My secret typ is the yasaka rsing dragon on the backhand, my current set up is the, Dhs Ma long 5 with DhS on forehand and yasaka rising dragon on the backhand

Excellent review!! Just wanted to throw in my 2 cents. You could be spending hundreds and thousands of dollars simply playing & trying out different blades and rubbers or combinations of some sort. I see a lot of big names in the comments here (ex: Butterfly, DHS, ALC, ZLC and etc) and someone even mentioned DHS W968. Expensive equipments do not equate to winning matches. I wish I had $$$ to switch every few months but I'm happy with my Yinhe Pro 01 ALC and Yinhe v14 ALC 30th Edition. Relatively inexpensive and an overall good quality blades.

I use stiga clipper cr non wrb and my forehand rubbers is fastarc g1 and my backhand is andro gtt 45 and its really good to me

What are your thoughts on the NON national Long 5? I'm currently using Nittaku Violin with G1 on both sides, I'm eyeing a few different options at the moment, increased the list after watching your video. Keep Violin and change forehand to Tibhar k3 for some more gears Change Violin to Sanwei Pro 5, keep G1 Change Violin to Acoustic, Keep G1 Change Violin to Timo Boll ZLC, keep G1 Change Violin to ZJK Super ZLC, keep G1

I tested the Timo Boll ALC board and it was a bit too fast for me. I opted for the Harimoto ALC and it's a good board. Although I would love to test the top 3 boards from this list

I use Carbonado 290 with tenergy 05. FH and Dignics 05 BH. I like it alot. I just ordered Legacy Carbon blade and Tenergy 05 FH and Dignics 64 BH. We will see . Good video

I just started off with nittaku acoustic off all wood with nittaku fastrac g1 BH and DHS hurricane neo 3 FH ! What are your thoughts on this set up? I am mostly a backhand dominant player

Acoustic is my blade of choice. G1 is a good BH rubber, but if you'll find you're struggling a bit on a thin contact, try DHS Gold Arc 8 47.5. You will feel the ball sinks more into the rubber, with more dwell time, but still very spinny and fast. To me it's a better BH choice. Your mileage may wary of course. G1 is a bit more durable.

for me,it’s a Zhang jike super zlc (old Model , No green pearl) becuse this version is not too fast, very very good dwell time on racket , it’s amazing racket.

For those blades as FZD alc, Timo bol alc, are they the same as viscaria with different handle color because they are all arylate carbon and same wood composite ?

I'm using Fan Zhendong ALC with Glayzer on fh and Glayzer 09c on bh and it's amazing. Have been using Rozena on both sides before and it was amazing as well. The Fan Zhendong ALC is a agressive and fast but still very controlled blade and gives a lot of feedback. I can recommend it to everyone!

Im on a budget, so I have tested a few Palio blade. My favorite one is the palio tnt-1. Of you ever had the chance to test it coach, your opinion on it would be appreciated. I can do awesome loop, it can be fast and slow when you want.

Considering that I'm more of an offensive player. For budget friendly option should I go with Yasaka Wood Ma Lin Carbon or Tibhar Samsonov alpha. Also would it be good choice to go with V > 15 extra (Forehand) and Nittaku fastarc G-1 (backhand)?

The Fan Zhendong ALC is basically a renamed Viscaria. Butterfly loves renaming classic blades.

Good reviews however if you’re a player with upwards 30-40 blades and you play an attacking style but also need more control over the table because you tend to over hit many shots what blade would you recommend. I’m currently going back and forth between a Samsonov Alpha straight handle with 09C on forehand and Gewo Xt on backhand and the Joola Nobilis blade with 09C on forehand and Andro C45 on backhand

i´m currently using the Xiom Extreme S Blade with GEWO Nexxus EL Pro 48 Superselect on forehand and GEWO Nexxus EL Pro 48 on the backhand. i will probably switch to a slower blade but since its kinda new, i am going to test it a bit longer

I'm using a Butterfly Lin Gaoyuan ALC. I find it a bit faster than Viscaria but less controllable. Stiil i like it more. I have it with Tenergy O5 on fh and Tenergy 19 on by. Thinking of switching to Rasanter R48 on FH and maybe Tibhar MX-S on bh. T19 is a great rubber for bh. By the way, your English skills have improved a lot. 😉

Just a beautifully produced and informative video. The best I've seen of its kind. Thank you for taking the time to create such a thorough piece For my $, innerforce ZLC (or ALC) with tenergy 80 on both sides is tops. Never played with DHS blade though

I got this blade. Really don't like it so much. It's fast, not fast enough. Control is not as good as I expected. So I'm using now a Lin Gaoyuan ALC, with better results. Faster, even a bit faster than Viscaria, and more controllable with proper technique.
