YESSSSS A TWILIGHT PRINCESS VIDEO!!! MY FAVORITE ZELDA GAME

I always thought it was unfair how there was never a sequel to this but WW got 2 sequels and OOT got a sequel, now BOTW gets one.

People take Wind Waker and Twilight Princess for granted, especially the former. When I saw Linkle for the first time, I immediately thought it was partially inspired by Crossbow Training.

Twilight Princess is my all time favorite Zelda game everything a Zelda game should be.

I mean the video was nice, don't get me wrong. but It went from a "Beta and unused content video" to an "Easter egg and references video". The fact that super Mario Easter eggs exist, doesn't make it Beta or Unused

While Nintendo already has my undying respect as an indie game dev who was heavily influenced by the N64 classics, I would hold only the highest of respects for them if their newest game was a Majoras mask title, but rather than returning to Termina after the Hero of time, but rather going to it before it. Hear me out. As has been mentioned before by many people, and by you guys, Termina has obvious reflections of the triforce trio and people of Hyrule (even though this was honestly just their way of justifying reusing assets, which is fine lol) we notice there is no Hero reflection, or even mention, outside of the Fierce Deity Mask, which has very little to go on. What if they made it to where you played as Termina's equivalent of the Hero and ended with you being forced to essentially become the mask. Let me explain my theory:You play in the earlier days of Termina, with the Ancient tribe mentioned being prominent, even the Kingdom of Ikana being rather large and possible for the player to even visit. The Ancient tribe, using Majoras Mask, would be used in a hexing ritual attempting to aid Ikana against the Garro, but it gets out of hand, it goes too far and causes evil to infect the other 3 regions, which could have multiple 'temples', and the player must go through and clear these areas out as per a normal Zelda style dungeon crawl. However, unlike the other Zelda games, this hero would not possess the triforce, but rather be what is essentially is a demi-god, similar to early Kratos, but far less powerful at first. Each time the player clears a temple he gains the power of the temple boss monster, thus granting him more power needed to defeat the Mask, which would likely possess a powerful member of the Ancient tribe, possibly even the one who created the mask to begin with. As the player progresses, he gains items like the legendary armour and double Helix sword used by what we know as the Fierce Deity. Perhaps in order to defeat Majora, the player must essentially become Majora in a manner of speaking (this is referencing the line "Could this Masks Dark Power be as bad as Majoras?"). At the height of the Ikana Garro war, the Kingdom, and by extent much of Termina would be in ruin and its armies destroyed or possessing the soldiers of the Ikana Kingdom, culminating in a vicious fight against hordes of monsters and ending in a climactic battle against Majora (not a mask at this point, but as mentioned earlier a man possessed by the evil in the mask even if the mask is not yet sentient). This fight could be part of a final ritual to seal Majora into the mask. The player, being essentially a god at this point and highly powerful, knowing Majora could come back at some point in the future, would agree to also seal his soul away into a mask since his power would be essentially just as dark as Majoras seeing as he obtained it from the boss monsters infested by Majora. By this time, Ikana is in ruins and any survivors of Ikana flee and found what is known now to be clocktown. All that remain in Ikana are the long dead and restless souls of those who once battled the Garro before the outbreak of the evil of Majora. The mask, now locked in the Stone Tower, is possessed by the tribal member who once wore it, and time will only drive you crazy. The Hero, however, heavily wounded by his final fight, in a form of stasis, and now all his power and soul now sealed within his respective mask, does not go insane by essentially becoming dormant. This leads me to how the Happy Mask Salesman got BOTH masks. After the Garro leader opened the Stone Tower Temple ( I cant remember whos video I saw that suggested this, but it made sense), he searches for the mask himself to finish of Ikana. After quite some time the Garro leader obviously dies and becomes like his kin in Ikana. By the present day, the HMS finds both Masks inside and goes on his happy way, until the events with the Skull Kid. Majora would have taken possession of the FDM and kept it until someone worthy were to use it so Majora could fight him and take back his power, however Majora would totally underestimate the power of both the Fierce Deity and Link combined, explaining why it is essentially impossible for the player to lose in any boss fight while wearing the mask. This would also go some length to explain why the mask can only be worn during boss fights, because it only reacts when in the presence of the evil of Majora, no longer being Dormant and fulfilling his initial purpose of destroying Majora should he ever return, which he would.I know that was long, but I think it would make a great story and give EVERYONE a much needed and satisfying answer as to who the Fierce Deity really is, the ancient Hero of Termina who used Majoras dark power against him and defeated him, single handedly ending the war in Ikana and saving Termina, but at the cost of Ikana itself. Since he wielded the power of Majora, he could be filled with its dark power, thus explaining the Darkness of the mask mentioned when obtaining it. A hero dedicated to destroying Majora when he should return, but doing so using his own dark power, becoming a fierce deity whose sole purpose is destruction of his enemy. That would make an excellent game in my opinion.

I would like to learn more about Sheikah Lore as it still seems very mysterious. I can't remember who made the video on whether The Happy Mask Salesman was actually a male Sheikah but it seemed interesting...

Something that was cut really really late into the development was the magic meter. There's evidence of it in the screenshots on the box of the Wii and GameCube versions of the game. Also green chuchu's still exist somehow. The only way to get them to spawn is to have a blue and yellow chuchu do a fusion ho dance and they'll make it green chuchu. Of course it still drops green chu jelly but it does nothing in all three versions of the game. The wind GameCube version it doesn't have any text whenever you pick it up but in the HD version it actually text saying you didn't look very appetizing and it still does nothing.

Landscape shofts don't bother me, I just wan't a consistent timeline. In a realm with multiple realities, magic, and world-rearranging events, it's surprising anything is even recognizable from 1 game to the next. Or we could just say that 'planet Hyrule' is either very geologically active or that there are multiple concurrences of this similar story, all on Australia-sized landmasses, all over the planet.

The Sheik being for Twilight Princess is a bit of a fallacy. The reason Smash Bros. featured a Twilight princess version of Sheik is because they had updated the Link and Zelda models in Smash Bros. Brawl to match their Twilight princess counterparts... Since Zelda and Sheik were one character in Brawl they needed to update the Sheik design to be visually similar to the Twilight Princess artstyle. Sheik wasn't planned to appear in Twilight Princess.

I like the OG Gamecube release better. The colour pallete kinda meets the eye more. Also they changed something in Ilia's face on the HD version that i can't tell apart what exactly. But she kinda looks like a duck for some reason
