Why are the California Raisins on the list if you said you wouldn't accept mascots when they were created before the cereal, and simply used to market it? They were created to be mascots of a food product and were reused for the cereal so they should have been excluded.

It's been years since I last ate breakfast cereals, but the last time I checked Count Chocula had been the year-round cereal with Franken & Boo only coming out during Halloween. Yep. Every single mascot on this list with no exception has been in my cereal cuboard at some point.

About 90% of these characters have either never made it to the UK or were banned in the late 80s & 90s because the more sugary cereals were deemed dangerous to children's health - you can still get Lucky Charms though in specialist import sweet stores. Frosties & Snap-Crackle & Pop are the exceptions. :P

The only guy sold here in Brazil is tony. There aren't many cereals around here.... We usually just drink a glass of milk with some sort of chocolate thing and sometimes breed.

Corn Flakes and Frosted Flakes get too soggy too fast for me to really enjoy, but number one could have only been Tony the Tiger! He's just so iconic, I couldn't see any of the others being it.

In Australia, Rice Krispies are called Rice Bubbles and the mascots' names are switched with each other.

Hes a commander. Look at the strips for captain and then commander. The rank dont change because your on a ship. There the same

Anyone remember "The Cheerios Kid"? One of the first breakfast cereal mascots. Appeared in the 1950's.

What of his majesty King Vitamin? Not sure if that brand even had commercials, but they had a real boss mask you could cut out on the side of the box.

Hey, you could have at least mentioned that for 50 years Tony's voice was Thurl Ravenscroft, who also sang "You're a Mean One Mr. Grinch", or that Arnold Stang was the voice of Top Cat. Since the video was a who's who of Hollywood voice talent and would've been too long if you gave them all a shout out, you get a pass.

Cap'n crunch isn't a captain.look at his arms. A captain has 4 stripes and he has 3 so that means he's a commander.(commander crunch)
