IM from the US , and Agree 100%...Where the hell is Inside Number 9 ? Best show out in YEARS , and not once heard a peep about it. I love British Humor .. and Horror ..lol

@@juliannaking4473 I hate most 70s and 80s BBC sitcoms, I hate practically all 00s Channel 4 sitcoms, and I hate horror, unless it's the paranormal/supernatural sort with ghosts. I've seen around 3 or 4 episodes of *Inside Number 9* and was only impressed with 1 of them. The best shows of the year are usually dramas, but as *BARB* (Broadcasters Audience Research Board) decided to change their website again in 2021, and no longer seem to publish their annual viewing reports, complete with *Top 10* lists, I can't say what the *Top 10 Most Watched Dramas of 2021* were, especially as they don't seem to be published anywhere else either. Although the *Most Watched Dramas of 2022* can be found on *TV Zone UK.* However what I can say, from previous years especially, is that the *Top 10 Most Watched Dramas* and *Top 10 Most Watched Programmes* in general, rarely get talked about on the internet, as... *Critics* love overpromoting shows which barely anyone watches. *Award Ceremony Judges* love giving awards to shows which barely anyone watches. *KZfaq Channels* like these, most of which are based in Canada, like listening to those out-of-touch critics and award ceremony judges. And the public like listening to these *channels, critics and award ceremony judges.* The majority of the public online are also younger people, who focus too much on shows by American companies like *Netflix* and *HBO,* and give those American companies credit a lot of the time, for shows which are actually British, and have nothing to do with those American companies. When Americans do actually realise a show is *British* they automatically credit the *BBC,* yet most of the shows they like are actually by *ITV,* the 2nd most watched channel in the UK, and the 1st most watched channel in the UK since records began in 1981.

@@juliannaking4473 Here's the *Top 10 Most Watched Dramas of 2022* (as mentioned in paragraph 2): 1 - The Tourist by the BBC - 11.4M 2 - Trigger Point by ITV - 10.9M 3 - The Thief, His Wife and The Canoe by ITV - 10.1M 4 - The Responder by the BBC - 9.5M 5 - Death in Paradise by the BBC - 9.1M 6 - SAS: Rogue Heroes by the BBC - 9M 7 - Call the Midwife by the BBC - 8.7M 8 - Sherwood by the BBC - 8.6M 9 - Silent Witness by the BBC - 8.2M 10 - Our House by ITV - 8M Those are the average viewing figures over an entire series by the way, not just single episode numbers. As you can see it features 3 *ITV* dramas, however it usually features at least 4 or 5. Shows from *Channel 4* which reactor channels seem to love, deem their shows a success when they get an average of around 1M. And shows from *Channel 5, UKTV* and *Sky* deem their shows a success when they get a few hundred thousand viewers, as the *BBC* and *ITV* dominate the ratings, just like they've been doing for the last 68 years. *ITV* since the 2008 financial crisis (which they used as an excuse to cancel a lot of their most successful, long-running, dramas), *ITV* have been mainly focusing on reality shows like *Britain's Got Talent, The X Factor, The Voice, The Masked Singer, The Masked Dancer, Dancing on Ice, Ant & Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway, Celebrity Juice, The Chase, Tipping Point, Tenable, I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here, Love Island, Big Brother* etc. However *ITV* still make excellent dramas, and still dominate the ratings when it comes to *Soaps, Detective Dramas, Quiz Shows, Game Shows, Morning Shows* etc... Which is why 99% of the *BBC's* detective shows, and a lot of their period dramas, are made by *ITV's* various production companies, for the *BBC,* as *ITV* do them better than anyone. *Children's Shows* would've been there too in the genres which *ITV* dominate at, however both the *BBC* and *ITV* are getting rid of their children's TV channels.
