Such a tasty, well rounded tour. OMG the chewy dense noodle bowl at Paik's looked so delicious and how fun to have the live fire wok going while the customers eat?! Really adds to the experience. Loved seeing mama make another appearance too!!! Thanks Meimei, sending love 💗

Pinoy BBQ ATBP = AT IBa Pa (spoken like its written). "At iba pa" translated means - etcetera or more literally "and other stuff". It's a typical thing for Filipinos to do a lot of plays on words, thus "ATBP". Thanks for the video!

Pinoy BBQ (barbeque) ATBP is the acronym for "At iba pa". In english it translates to 'and other things' or etcetera. I migrated to the Bay Area 20 years ago from Manila, and Pinoy BBQ ATBP remains to be my family's favorite filipino spot.

I go for a gyro over a falafel most of the time. Try the falafel sandwich next time. Also, they’re really famous for their banana shake. It’s a winning combo! My six year old can’t get enough of the shake.

Pro-tips for Huong Lan, specifically the Newark location: 1. Best banh mi is the xiu mai (meatball) with a fried egg added. 2. They make really good pho.

Over here in Whittier, California we have Arturo's Puffy Taco and that place was featured in Food Network... their puffy tacos are the best if you have your taco shells puffed up. Try some puffy tacos

I've tried most of these places, they're all good, I think my fav is Egghead (I love the Eggy or Egghead salad). I also love bun beo, but it's best eaten with chicharrons and slices of fresh jalapenos (and the fish sauce of course)😋 - yummers!
