Every time I see the University of Waterloo listed in these types of videos I know you probably didn’t consult the university website. I am an engineering student at the university of Waterloo and tuition for international students in engineering program is 62000 $ this year. Two years ago it was around 60k. Though other programs might be less expensive, it is always good to consult universities websites to get accurate information.

Starting in Fall 2023, if you want to study in French at a DLI outside of greater Montreal area in Quebec, your tuition will be reduced to the same level as local residents (average about $3000 CAD/year). This is for the entire degree or diploma. Eligible fields are IT, engineering, social and health services, and education (including early childhood education). International students can work 20 hr/week while studying. Quebec has allocated $80 million for this program.

I don't think these universities are cheap right now. As I have researched to these universities their tuition fees are higher than you have mentioned in your in the video.

the fees for memorial university is no longer this cheap due to covid, I applied for fall this year and the fees for bachelor of science on my acceptance letter is 20k cad, it was 11k at spring but not anymore. This comment is for those looking for the cheapest options.

Memorial is extremely expensive now. I will advice anyone to apply for vocational education. You can easily get your admission they do not complicate on your documents and most of them don’t even need IELTs . Toulon vocational college is the best

I can say that for a fact because the Memorial University of Newfoundland's undergraduate tuition fees range from $6,000 CAD (Domestic students & other Canadian students) to $20,000 CAD (International students).
