Netherlands; loved it 30 yrs ago and consistent feeling when there 3X recently , inc New Year’s celebrations, which are spectacular. However, the winter rain and humidity made me 😩. My dream would be to live there in warm months and spend winters somewhere warmer in Europe.The current mess of this spring culminated by social tensions and impending escalation of economic shrinkage of services, particularly in the arts, has made me tired of my homeland. As an artist, Florence was always my dream. Alas, that world is now forever changed from it’s charm of 20 yrs ago. Germany is clean, professional, trains on time, great Christmas cookies, but too conservative. Visited Copenhagen 30 yrs ago from Italy. The difference and quality in food choices was a shock. All the produce was shipped into supermarkets; Iceberg lettuce everywhere. I hope that has since changed. New Zealand sounds interesting. Would have to brace up for that long plane ride. Japan and Singapore were nice to visit. Loved Antwerp too. Long to see Prague. Artists’ criteria on ideal places to live is different. I advise people to look into expat groups on social for info about experiences. Overall, an interesting video overview. Thank you.

You missed a crucial issue: Europe is quickly heading to its sunset. There are large swaths where over half of all baby boys are named 'Mohammed'. In two generations (or less the next some regions) there will be almost no European nation without a majority of citizens who do not like the indigenous nationality of the country in which they live --the statistics sadden anyone who cherishes uniquely European cultures. So sad for all of us who cherish the richness of cultural diversity.

I have been to the Netherlands and coming from the Caribbean, I must say the Netherlands is excellent with their health care system and easy to adapt to English speaking makes you feel more connected that distant when chatting to locals. They also are very straightforward so you don't feel bullshitted. Transport system is even better than in London. Plus the Dutchies tall, blonde and hot.

@@that_artsy_boy675 The United States has a monopoly on certain demographics, since the EU never makes blockbusters, and I'm pretty sure most westerners don't really want to see most of the ones made by China or India. But the Chinese seem to be a growing market for American blockbusters so I could picture Hollywood in the future heading to China. Also while particular areas of the United States are in decline, the United States still has unfarmed farmland, and unextracted oil so as a whole it is simply not.

The US has a great film industry and Los Angeles or Hollywood may be good places to get contacts. The best thing to do is to make some mini movies completed to create a portfolio. Also a lot of US movies are filmed in Louisiana, Georgia or Canada due to overall costs and regulations.

I'm from Canada, and we were doing ok till BC... After Covid, Canada is almost like US, with less cases, less people, and the last country to have a lockdown with our dumb PM... Prices went up on groceries and my income is still low... Hope Switzerland is better and praise to New Zealand

I knew New Zealand had to be mentioned at some point. So glad it got an honorable mention on this list. I still love the USA though. And despite what people hear on the news, it’s not as bad here as they make it seem. I think people forget the fact that the USA is an incredibly large country. Larger than most countries mentioned on this list. Example, Take New York where the majority of COVID cases have been reported, if I live in California I’m more than 1,000 miles ( 1609.344 kilometers) away from the COVID disaster that is New York City. Also, the political climate changes depending on which State you choose to live in. So to generalize that ALL STATES have the same political views is ludacris. California, Texas, and Florida have some of the SAFEST cities in the country. My advice, Do some research before coming to the USA. I promise you, NO TWO STATES ARE ALIKE.

I would love to live in the most of those countries BTU, there is a barrier between me and my dream. It's called VISA . It's very hard to get a visa to live there. 😕
