What is the deal with these cars that are literally half a centimeter from the ground? If we lived in a perfectly flat world, that would be great, but we don't. These cars can't pull out of any parking lot or travel over any bridge without scratching or completely damaging the car. Heaven forbid if it ran over a pothole.

the real ones are made to be used on certain racetracks only... Some of the most crazy hypercars from Ferrari and co., well you can't even just go drive them at the racetrack, you need to make an appointment with people from the brand, so they bring all the computers and shit like in F1. No joke. I think it's also part of the insane price of some of those craziest cars.

Yeah. There is not point in buying it even for the filthy rich. You can't even show off anywhere except certain tracks. The most practical of all these concept cars is that sport car which was marketed as an SUV.

See, that's one of the things I love about Gran Turismo. Other racing video games want us to "live" as race drivers, but GT actually makes us dream about it. An endless "What if...?" of breathtaking possibilities.

It’s DB 100 as in DB5 Bond, James Bond’s car meaning legendary Aston Martin engineer David Brown whom the designation is meant to honor. The virtual car is DP 100. Guess they were afraid of copyright infringement!

Concept cars rarely become production. Price tags are way out of the reach of most consumers. Maintenance on these types of cars can be expensive as well. Before you wish you had one, do your home work first, and then get something practical.

Today's fast cars could already fly, only the spoiler points the opposite way to keep it on the ground and has wings that extend when it takes off, on which there are propellers with the option of vertical and horizontal way of directing those propellers and there you have a flying car, even if somehow it is possible to install propellers on all four points, which would additionally keep the island in the air.

We have flying cars. They're called planes, we don't have and will never have flying road vehicles, too much petrol, leaves too much of a carbon footprint and its just really impractical and you'd need to go stupidly high speeds just to try and get lift off

@@thstan4062 You don't need a fossil fuel car to get in fast, an electric car is much faster, the only problem is battery capacity.Because the battery could be charged continuously as long as the wheels or propellers are turning, you just need to put Dynamo on all four wheels and all propellers, as it was on the old on a bicycle, for light, as long as you pedaled, you had light. Why don't they put that in electric cars, instead of charging the battery only during braking.

@@Loki_Games4Fun if it were possible they'd be doing it, if it was useful they'd be doing it. Or practical, or within the law, how are you going to introduce laws to that, what laws would make it safer, what's the cost of those cars going to be, how will it effect people when it eventually fails, people will have car breakdowns mid-air plumet to the ground introducing more risks and injuries over a simple breakdown is not worth it, everything is impractical, dangerous and out of reach, as well as just not being able to control flying vehicles that well and keep them within road confines ( how you going to mark out places and directions as well as keep the cars away from the top of houses, buildings and airports its impossible, with the cars in the air you can't have anything to mark out directions, you can't place markers and signs in the sky

in order for a car imbued with self sustaining artificial intelligence to function even at it's minimum potential there has to be advanced state-of-the-art intelligent infrastructure, meaning compatibility . . . that's year 2100 onwards . . . self sustainable artificial intelligence is a level of AI & technological breakthroughs where an AI can create other self sustaining artificial intelligence all by itself without any human intervention whatsoever . . .

I don't think the designers of these 'self driving autonomous' vehicles really understand drivers. 80% or more want the experience of driving the car, if we wanted to be driven somewhere there are plenty of public transportation options to get places already. You spend all that money for a car, you really want to experience the driving experience not just get driven around by the car itself IMO.

Estos automóviles no están diseñados para las calles de cualquier país, debido a las deformidades y defectos del asfalto , y también los malditos baches que existen en cualquier calle del mundo, está el problema de los street bumps,conocidos como los topes o reguladores de velocidad,autos con chasis muy bajo son solo autos de fantasía y para exibicion.

All but the Genesis and the "GFG" (never even heard of that): ugly as hell. They're not really pleasing to the eye either, mind, but just a hell of a lot better than those eyesores. 🤮 And that's only from the outside. Gosh! it's time daddy picks up those "designers" from kindergarten and tells them "No tablets for a week. Here's a pen. And some paper. Draw a car!"

@@jerryhawk8434 : The manufacturing is not worse. For one, there is 1/10 the parts in the drive train and recycled materials are being used for more and more of the parts but more importantly batteries are changing extraordinarily rapidly. What may have been true yesterday will be much improved tomorrow. Materials, processes, efficiency, longevity, and recyclability are all improving exponentially. We cannot afford to keep burning fuel.
