People are not good or bad. There’s no such thing as good people or bad people. People can’t be good or bad because they are not defined by one choice they made at one moment in their life . All people make decisions. And the choices they make can be good decisions or bad decisions, but they are all circumstantial…. They are all based on the circumstances they are in at a given moment. And those decisions are made within a split second. Human beings are not bad. But we we all make bad choices and bad decisions sometimes. The point is to learn from them. We all make good decisions too. In a single day, we can make dozens of good decisions and dozens of bad decisions. we make hundreds of different decisions each day and not all of them are going to be winners. Not all of them are going to be good decisions.. some of them are going to have negative consequences or outcomes. We shouldn’t be punishing people on a split second decision they made one time unless that decision caused physical harm or destruction to a person or property. Somebody wouldn’t explode and get angry for no reason. emotions are triggered by stimuli. They don’t manifest out of thin air. As a woman, I don’t think you could possibly make the case that you have never went from happy to sad, or totally calm to angry and explosive at the drop of a hat… but particularly when it’s that time of the month when your hormones are out of control. Everyone has hormones.. and the stress hormone cortisol plays a huge role on our emotions. You can’t say that it’s chilling that he is this calm in court, but acted that volatile in private, because that was one instance that he acted that way and something clearly triggered that behavior. It did not happen in a vacuum, because nothing happens in a vacuum. Something triggered it. Something caused him to respond that way. Unless you know anything about psychology, I would absolutely give up trying to read people. Because you are really bad at it.
