It was actually originally meant to ward off pirating the game. If one were to pirate the game, the easter egg would show up instead of the game.

@PIMP LOKZ No, he's right. The myth claims that you can see it in the 1985 VHS and that's the only footage that anybody has seen. There's a trailer from 1942 that you can watch that clearly shows a bird. I could type up an entire essay about all the flaws in that myth.

One time, I was playing GTA V in the dark and while escaping the police, I eventually outran them, then I saw the ghost standing at the end of the cliff. That's why I stay in the city and cause carnage there.

The only relaxing and satisfying thing about number 9 is that unlike most others on this list, ur not alone but with ur friends who are also scared, but at least they’re on ur side if the witch ever tries to charge at u in an evil and scary way while running in the halls with ur friends. Number 8 on the other hand, Agent 47 is so badass that he doesn’t flinch when seeing a ghost and despite it being already dead, u can still kill it by shooting it until it’s gone.

When one of the “Easter eggs” was just a glitch , this means that any of these Easter eggs could be another glitch (for you don’t know, the Luigi hanging “Easter egg” is just a glitch)

Batman Arkham Knight has a creepy Easter egg put the date on October 31st on your console or PC and play the game as normal you will get a jump-scare by Man-Bat

I don't think the universe revolves around me but it feels like it does. GTA V has been around from 5 years so I wouldn't think there be any new videos uploaded about it. I started playing it for the first time this week and I finished it then started looking for the ghost as soon as yesterday.

PT was not the only game to have references to it found in others. Sonic.EXE was another one that kind of popped up in other games. FNF was one of them and there was also a reference to Sonic.EXE in Ready Player Two when one of the characters says "i think Anthrax went all Sonic.EXE on us" and in various CN shows you can sometimes here Sonic.EXE music in the background if not see the entity himself for a brief moment

actually the "Majin Sonic" screen in Sonic CD was meant to be an anti-piracy screen before the idea was scrapped and Majin Sonic himself has been added into the Soinc.EXE multiverse. as well as being memed to death by the internet

Not one creepy Easter Egg from COD WAW Zombies or Black Ops 1 Zombies? The Hangman on Shi No Numa when knocked down and you walk to him and touch him your game crashes. And what about all the creepy sounds on the map Verruckt? And don,t even get me started on Der Riese with the little kids singing near the power switch. Not sure if this counts as creepy or sad, nor do I remember how to do it, but in Gears of War 3's multiplayer mode on, I think it was called the Chapel (I've probably got the name wrong), if you do the requirements, you'll hear an audio clip of Dom crying.

Here’s some creepy Easter eggs that wasn’t on the list, and it’s from the Five Nights At Freddy’s Series, From FNAF 1-6 (Excluding FNAF 4 and World). In FNAF 1, sometimes when you start up the game, or start a random night, or die, you will see a distorted image of Bonnie’s head, In FNAF 2 it was the same thing, except with different animatronics for whatever you do in the game, Whenever you start up the game, Withered Freddy will appear sometimes, whenever you start a random night, Withered Foxy will appear sometimes, and whenever you die, Toy Bonnie will appear sometimes. In FNAF 3, Whenever you start the game or die, sometimes you will see images of Springtrap trying to rip off his mask, and revealing his decayed face. In FNAF Sister Location, whenever you die, sometimes a blueprint of the Animatronics will appear on the screen, and I believe if you brighten up the image, you can see a human notably the size of a child inside the Animatronics’ stomach (Fun Fact: I think the same Blueprint outside the Breaker Room door I think). And finally in FNAF 6, sometimes whenever you start up the game or die, you will see either Lefty, Scrap Baby, Afton/Scraptrap, or Molten Freddy sitting In an Alleyway in the rain before they got salvaged.

And I know this video came out before FNAF Help Wanted, let alone the Halloween Expansion came out, but in the FNAF HW Curse Of Dreadbear DLC, there are a ton of creepy Easter eggs, one of them is whenever you flip the switch to get in Blacklight mode and press the button on the Monitor with the mini games, you will see Glitchtrap dancing in the distance on top of the hill, another one is with a giant Dreadbear looming over you in the distance, another one which is only minor, but sometimes the sky will change from green to red and I think purple, another one will happen on rare occasions where Dreadbear will emerge from the lake behind you slowly and walk like a zombie over to the shack behind you, the same shack you appear in after you beat one of the DLC mini games, and going back to the lake, sometimes you will see a pirate ship getting sunken by a kraken in the same lake.

I heard the heart in the liberty statue represents the “heart of liberty city” like everything that happens in that city pretty much all comes from the heart. I really can’t remember exactly why the heart was there but there is a reason if you look it up on here.

RDR2 has so many of them, these are just a few ones I've found but if ya'll research them, you'll see what I mean. I keep finding corpses in houses, I found the Night Folk and just last night in the Swamp I heard a crying ghost while looking for the unrelated Night Folk on 2 A.M. (In game time).

Andy Castellanos there is the ghost of a girl named Agnes Dowd that will sometimes appear in the swamp trying to call out to her lover. Sometimes youll see her, sometimes youll just hear her
