Dnd beyond importer was the first time I've ever subscribed to something on patreon. Also the encounter importer saves so much time when setting up scenes

MHussah! Thank you. I appreciate the coverage of key settings, examples, intriguing Patreon options, samples from use, etc. For viewers, I suggest re-watching after a game session with the module installed. I tend to catch something that makes it worth the time. Would appreciate an update to the PathFinder version when FoundryVTT ver.12 is released.

Great video! I have one question for you if you can help out. I have been trying to get targeting templates vanish before the animation kicks in like you have with fireball. Any ideas? I have midi-qol and bunch of other stuff installed.

I can't quite remember where the option is, but I believe it's a setting in either Midi-QOL, or automated animations. 🤔 Path: Game Settings (cog wheel icon, top right of your screen once you're in a world on Foundry) -> Configure Settings -> Midi QOL -> Workflow. The settings you're looking for should be under "targeting". If not, then the option is most likely an option of the mod "Monk's Combat Details" which I would highly recommend utilizing, and other of Monk's mods in your game sessions. I hope this helps! @@nattertot I will check those out, thanks for help! I got this at least temporarily fixed by selecting remove template option from frequently used spells from Automated Animations menu.

Hey I am not sure if Crash's 5e Training is supported anymore (as of 5 months ago based on that github link you posted). There might be an equivalent module Ethck's Downtime Tracking, but it only seems to have some of the functionality.

Correct, Crash's Tracking and Training is technically no longer being maintained, but because it's such a simple mod, it will most likely work for quite a while since it doesn't really do anything crazy (as far as mods go) and the mod creator has said before that he plans on updating it occasionally since he still uses it. Thanks for pointing that out btw! I should've mentioned this in the video. 👍

Good list - although I prefer Epic rolls 5e to LMRTFY ( UI is very nice and the animations are cool too)

I wonder if any of these will change due to the Foundry getting official 5e support and getting new features because of it, such as the Backpack container thing now being natively supported.

As far as I know, the backpack mod is basically obsolete since it's now a part of the base 5e system for Foundry. But still useful for people who want to still use older versions.

Alas, with the most recent versions of Foundry, the “Magic Items” mod no longer works, but there is GOOD news: the module “Items with Spells” is a great substitute. The downside is that I’m struggling to configure it to correctly track charges and replenishment of charges, so for now that’s a manual thing. That said, the spell display for item-specific use is actually better than the Magic Items mod was.

You #1 recommendation (midi quality of life) no longer works with 5e ... which is truly depressing bc I desperately want to link damage to attack... the #1 waster of time to capture and apply.

Yeah, since Foundry just updated their D&D game system, and since mod creators don't get early access to new versions, they tend to lag behind when there are big updates. If I had to guess, since Midi QoL is such a beloved mod it will hopefully be updated and made compatible with the new D&D version soon, but modding is a complicated process, so it might be a little while longer. 😁👍 As far as I know, they haven't made any announcement saying that they don't plan to maintain the mod anymore. 🤔

@@nattertot, you're right, bro. It's difficult to find any Top 10 recommendation that doesn't give Midi QoL glowing reviews. I've got to believe there is massive disappointment out there, but - as you say - if the devs aren't given some sort of heads-up (or at least an api to plan around), what can the Midi folks do but scramble to get things working after the release. I do hope Midi does make some sort of announcement so we can calibrate or expectations beyond at quivering question-mark...

Works now on 11 with most recent D&D update. But doesn't work with Founday 12 yet.
