Smith grew up in London and became interested in rock music at 15. He soon formed a friendship with future Iron Maiden guitarist Dave Murray, who inspired him to take up the guitar. "He started me off playing; I bought my first guitar off him." "We were both at the same state, but Dave was a bit further down, he'd actually put the time in and learn to play the guitar. And I sort of... he started me off playing. I bought my first guitar off him, I think it was like five quid or something. It was something he had lying around."

I love Dave, he is my favorite of the band. However, after playing in an Iron Maiden tribute band where I had to play all of Adrian’s parts, I would say that Adrian is def the more technical guitar player. It doesn’t necessarily make him better because Dave is a super melodic player, but from a technical standpoint, Adrians stuff is so much harder to play.
@gulthepilot2 жыл бұрын
@@JessieJames0317 imo...his melodic style of play is quite recognizable...the legato parts especially...also there's something in the timing of his bends...its awesome !!!!
