I have to disagree with targeting weaker opportunities in Rec. Games. That's bad sportsmanship IMO. Rec play is time to get better and excluding better player just to win meaningless game is counter productive. Save that for tournaments.

Jim, I agree, but so many players are now targeting like crazy. Using any advantage to achieve what they call victory smh.

This is something we’ve talked about in previous videos. It’s best to have awareness in Rec games. If there’s one player who is clearly weaker, hit to the stronger player as much if not more. It’s not fun to play a Rec game and have your opponents avoiding you (been there). We do advise hitting to the weaker player in matches that actually “count”.

I agree, in Rec, if you want to get better then target the better player, no point targeting weak players knowing they can’t defend a simple roll

I agree with not targeting the weaker player also. If you lose (in Rec) and it's going to be a three game wait.....I can understand why it happens sometimes.

Rec play is STILL competitive. Strategy is NOT bad sportsmanship. It's different if you go play with some friends, but rec open play is for competition. People always get this wrong. If you can't compete, you should not go to open rec. Make a date with personal friends if you want to work on your game.
