The Annabelle movies and subsequently The Conjuring movies had been lowering in quality as the franchise went on, and as James Wan lost interest and dumped his workload on his circle of understudies. Don't get me wrong, he has talent in his group, but they're like 2 out of the entire group. But when I saw her opening Annabelle's case... and she's a believer of the supernatural! You can only imagine my rage in La Llarona when she risked it all for her doll, AFTER almost getting drowned twice by the ghost. They're not using these I'm-with-stupid trope on like a disbeliever or someone new to the haunting or anything like. Their characters that were actively being attacked, decided that at this point the ghost can't possibly get me.

ALOT of these were dumb decisions only don't really have a success feel 😂 I feel like Resident Evil is a good one Alice stayed to cure a doomed guy and ended up captured and given super powers, I feel like that's a success. 🙌

Making stupid decisions is the hallmark of horror movies. People just _have_ to open that strange box, or go to that abandoned cabin in the woods, or buy that house that was built on an Indian burial ground.

98: Yeah, that was pretty stupid. The kid’s fault. Just a girl that wanted her doll. She rubbed her knee on the stuff, got her doll and was pulled by a huge force out of her home
