Initial sound response - Turning off monitor and freezing completely as to not make noise. Verification - Making sure what you heard was actually a guardian figure. Response - Depending on the results from step 2 you should; A. Sneak towards your bed. B.Turn on the monitor but lower your sound as you feel you may be on thin ice. Possible obstructions; •Cars driving past, drowning out the sound of possible threats to your midnight game session. •Pc light + sound, some PCs are loud and just turning off the monitor will not help even if you turn off the tower lights. •Rationality, this could lead to you getting caught due to misjudgment of where the sound originated, the thought process of ‘that probably wasn’t them coming closer’.
