There are stories of September 11th premonitions saving people from being inside the World Trade Center that day in 2001. In fact, some celebrities narrowly avoided death on 9/11. For example, Gabourey Sidibe was supposed to be in class nearby but overslept, Rob Lowe was on a test-run with the terrorists weeks before, and Olympian Ian Thorpe was heading back to the WTC to play tourist that morning. True Story: My Aunt was a manager on the 92 floor (I believe it was that floor of the North Tower), she was lucky enough to not attend work because they wanted her to go to an office in New Jersey. And every worker who was on that floor died. Rest in Peace them.

You all are getting way too butt hurt. WatchMojo makes videos about pop culture (i.e. movie's and actors, music, video games etc.). Just because they only talk about 'famous people' who were nearly killed in no way demeans the people who lost their lives. These are the kind of videos WatchMojo makes, videos about famous people and popular media, it makes sense they would talk about famous people who were almost killed on the anniversary of the event. It's been 16 years, is it still taboo to make a factual video about the topic?

I have a family friend whose son was supposed to get on one of the planes that hit the towers, but he was tired and decided to stay an extra night in Boston, that saved his life. That was actually the second time that had happened to him. 5 years earlier he was planning a trip to France with his girlfriend and was supposed to board TWA 800, but they ended up missing their flight (I can’t remember why). He is very lucky to be alive today.

Michael Jackson was not at risk. The list was of people who were at the towers or were supposed to be there but weren't (or were scheduled to be on a flight that crashed). Jackson was there on the 10th, but not on the 11th. Mentioned, but not part of the list.

I am from Pittsburgh. On the morning of September 11th, my dad was at work in a nearby town when he and some coworkers went to lower the flag after one of the towers fell. As they were lowering the flag they saw Flight 93 go over their heads. He said it could have easily crashed into downtown Pittsburgh. It’s one of the most haunting stories I’ve ever heard.

A new teacher at my school saved this guys life. He went to school in America with seth. When he was older and was teaching he invited seth to talk at his school. The kids were older kids (I think they were called freshmen or something) and took seth out drinking on September 10 2001. He woke up on september 11th and missed his flight

Michael Jackson had an interview in the first tower that was hit that day. No clue how he doesn’t make the list. He stayed up late the previous night after the concert with his mother, overslept and once he saw what had happened sped back to Neverland.

I was 22 years old on 9/11. I'm glad to hear that another plan for Jackie Chan, Mark Wahlberg and Seth MacFarlane have saved their lives. If Seth would've died on 9/11, his TV show Family Guy would've been cancelled right away. That would've sucked for all the fans of that TV show.

I was going to ask, "Why is Seth #1?" It's clear why. He literally says he was late by 15 minutes. I'm glad he didn't board that plane, as I am big fan of his work. And I'm also glad they instead played the clip rather than narrate over it.

My dad was an Air Force buddy with the co-pilot on the plane where the passengers tried to take back control of the plane. :( It's very unfortunate how loses there were that day. And it's even sadder that there were no bodies after the twin towers fell. I hope that all of the people who sadly died that day are resting in heaven. 🙏

Seth MacFarlane was the only one who actually "escaped death." Since the only people who were guaranteed to die were on the planes. There were survivors from the buildings near the impact zone. Wahlberg came close, but Seth actually went to board his plane and was planning on being on that exact plane. He was lucky his travel agent told him the wrong time and that he slept in from being drunk from the night before. He showed up within minutes of the gate closing.

My stepdad’s uncle had a company on the 83rd floor of the South Tower, and all 4 of his colleagues sadly passed away on September 11th, his uncle was sick that morning and didn’t go in.

My dad almost died on 9/11. He was supposed to fly to New York, but ended up taking a later flight which, in the end, cancelled due to what was going on. My mom was scared for my dad after she found out what happened, but he thankfully never boarded the plane.

I had a friend from college who suffers from IBS. She said that morning of 9/11 her IBS was acting up. She called in stating she would be into work after her medicine kicked in. We all know what happened. She said this was the first time in her life that IBS actually saved her life.

It hurts watching all these 9/11 videos. Its tough to live through it. I was in kindergarten when this happened and i don't remember a thing besides going home early cause i lived in maryland ( 20 minute drive from DC depending on the area ) but its tough. RIP TO ALL OF THEM. Im sure they're living it up in heaven and sad about whats going on with the world today. We're sad for them but im pretty sure they're sad for us. Anyways, if you're reading this you stay blessed. BE POSITIVE. Make a change. And live your life to the fullest! xoxo!

I was 15 years old when 9/11 happened and what sucks is my mom died year before 9-11 happened but always remember that day rip for everyone who died on that day and thank god for the heroes who try and save the people at that time.

My dad had a ticket for flight 11 and cancelled his plans the day before because his boss at the time said he did not have to attend the meeting. My dad really wanted to go and do his job he loved. But he was talked into not going and his other co workers went on the flight.

@@thomasdaniels6824yeah that's right from a documentary about the terrorist cell when they were organising the plot when doing practice run on flights they noticed that on weekdays it was less busy on flights so it was basically easier for them to take control of the flights with lesser people flying on that day

Officer Spooder nobody said that they weren’t important because the people who died that day are very important but let me tell you I was four years old when 911 happened my family was visiting Boston for vacation(I’m from LA) and we were scheduled to be on flight 11 but my parents I decided to skip the flight so that a few days before we could drive to New York City and on the 11th I as a 4 year old girl witnessed the plane of that I was supposed to be on that tower I was supposed to die in that plane I didn’t realize at the time that driving to New York saved my life but I witnessed the planes the people screaming the sirens the towers falling the people jumping the sounds of them hitting the ground and I know now that I was supposed to be part of the 3,000 dead people and it terrifies me I would like to think that the ones who almost died matter somewhat

My mom worked in one of the Towers and was supposed to open The Body Shop/Bath and Body works that day, my older brother and I made her late for work that morning and you know what from there. Everything happens for a reason(sometimes sadly)

I know she's not famous but she's married to a famous person: Brian Littrell from the Backstreet Boys. She was scheduled to fly on flight 11 as well but she said to Brian that she had a sinking feeling in her stomach and didn't want to fly out that day. She didn't. It was almost like she felt something was not right.

My grandma was scheduled to be on the flight to 9/11 the thing is her taxi as she got to jfk airport was having problems so she was late for the flight and the gate had shut. I’m so thankful that a dodgy taxi saved her life.
