Denise is my favorite winner! I think she played an almost perfect social game and understood exactly what she needed to do to get to win. Lots of folks put her win down because she almost brought Malcolm but we judge folks based on what they did, not what they almost did.

While Yul is my second-favorite player ever (next to Ozzy), my favorite winner as a person has to be Ethan Zohn. Ethan is just such an amazing human being. He may not have played the best out of all winners, but he’s a great person. He gave away his luxury item to a group of Kenyan kids, created a soccer organization that helped I think either hundreds of thousands or millions of kids play soccer while raising awareness for HIV and AIDS, became an ambassador for an organization that helped create a cancer treatment, got diagnosed with cancer himself, and then got to use his organization’s treatment to save his own life. And even on top of all that, he’s truly just a nice guy. From watching him on the show, especially in WaW, you can tell he never wants to hurt anyone, even if it’s just gameplay. He’s just such a kind soul and he sees the joy in everything. Thinking about Ethan as a person literally moves me to tears. I don’t think the $1 million has ever gone to a person more deserving than him. Maybe not in terms of gameplay, but by quality of character. And not only that, but he used the money to change other people’s lives.

FABIO was the first season my kids and I watched and were hooked. How could someone so unpretentious and unassuming win but we so wanted him to. Maryann was so stealthy, for all her theatrics, every syllable she uttered was measured and wise

Adam will always be my favorite winner/player. S33 was the first season I ever watched live and it was months after losing my dad to lung cancer so I really connected with him, his win also was one of the most shocking to me as everyone thought Jay or David would win going into the finale. And I've messaged him a few times on reddit and he's been incredibly nice to me.

Tyson is literally a GOAT 🫡, I loved his story arc, going from a cocky ass in Tocantins to a person who made a dumb move in HvV, and then becoming a ringleader and still having his great humour and a lot of heart in BvW. Definitely a top 10 fav winner in my books

Todd from China. China got me into Survivor and his Machiavellian way of controlling every aspect of each vote was exceptional

Jerermy Collins is my favorite survivor winner! Not only is he a firefighter in my home state, he’s an amazing player and an amazing guy!!! When he first played i was 11 years old, and he was my favorite player from the jump, and little me was so happy to root for him from the jump on Second Chance! and he blew away my expectations!!!

Some of Tony’s moves in Winners, the most pressure packed season of all time, make him my favorite. The Sophie’blindside might be the best move in 40 seasons. Love his confessional prior to that tribal. “ I’m trying to convince Jeremy to save Jeremy”

My rankings from 10-6: 10. Kim Spradlin- a winner with options, played a stellar game and very likeable 9. Earl Cole- real king of Fiji, also wished he returned 8. Amber Brkich- my personal most underrated winner, the original Natalie White, winning over her now husband-the runner up, and had them take more of the punches from the jury 7. Richard Hatch- something about the first winner, with the cocky attitude that will win him the money 6. Boston Rob- the godfather who always thinks ahead, has an intimidating cult leader presence that is fascinating to watch

Vecepia Towery (Season 4, “Survivor: Marquesas”) The First Winner to come from the minority tribe at merge. Will always be the most impressive win.

Natalie in SJDS had some of the most innovate strategic gameplay of all time. She’s my favorite winner.

I was and always will be a Michele stan. Love her and her social game, the way she keeps her cool and gets sassy jersey when need be.

Here are my 10-5 favorite winners 10 Earl - I really love Cerebral, mild mannered, intelligent players and Earl is one of them. I actually see a lot of similarity between him and season neighboring winner Yul. Both were just calm smart players who really dictated a lot of how their season went. Great winner. 9 Tony - Most of my appreciation for Tony comes with post-season information on how he played. Tony is the Kobe of Survivor, he just absolutely outworked literally everyone. Any shortcomings he might have had he overcame with sheer hustle. His 2nd win however really sold me on him. He won so differently than his previous season and really started that more cerebral playstyle rather than the "tear shit up and kiss and make up later" if Cagayan. He's a little to frenetic for my tastes, but I respect his game immensely and I think he's the greatest player in Survivor history. 8 Parvati - Much like Tony, Parvati's game isn't my favorite style, I prefer the more reserved tactical players, whereas she's a much more social intelligence style player, but I respect it too much to leave it off the list. She also is among the best "play with a target on her head" players of all time. Its a shame the old timers never had much of afoothold in Season 40 because if her reputation wasn't as massive as it was she could've done damage. She also was incredibly close to being our first 2 time winner. 7 Sandra - Sandra 1.0 and 2.0 are such amazing characters and players. She could simultaneously get into it and make for great TV while still getting her castmates to love her. She's also the foil to 2 of the best villains in survivor history while not just being a white meat babyface to borrow some wrestling terms. I also like Sandra 4.0 as well where she knew no one was about to let her get anything for free and she tried swinging for the fences. 3.0 "Queen stays Queen" Sandra, didnt love that version as much but like Tony she's been to successful to criticize too badly. 6 Sophie - More than anyone else in the shows history I think Sophie is most like myself. I think the most underrated part of her game is being a non-religious person in the absolutely mother of all cult like religion based alliances of all time (not that every religious person is cult like, but the way that season panned out the overtones were rough). I dont think I could've handled being allied with Coach and Brandon Hantz the way that Coach used religion as a sort of crusading force. But Sophie just laid low didnt rock the boat, then turned on the afterburners in the home stretch. I also was loving her game in WAW until Tony caught wind of how good she was and cut her legs out.

I'm probably a rarity in that one of my favorite winners is Bob. Gabon was the first season I watched when I was quite young and he reminded me of my grandfather (helped that my grandfathers name is Bob) so I quickly connected with him and that has always stuck with me.

I was insanely impressed with Sarah in Game Changers for continuing to manage the middle which is what got her out in brains, beauty, brawn.

Sophie might actually be my favourite winner. She’s not on a season I enjoyed, at all. But it’s how she plays. It’s the tactical brilliance but the snarky-pseudo-sarcastic interviews. She’s careful and patient. And seeing her back in winners at war? Just to watch her come back and then her vote off literally flooring me. I just really respect her. If I could play, I’d want a game similarly. But I also love Natalie (both but mostly Anderson.) Yul is also a favourite of mine. And Denise. I just really enjoy the winners who are pulling strings in the background. But also, I can’t make a comment without also shouting out Vesepia, Tina, and Maryanne

No particular order: Sophie - I don't really like the season, but I thought she handled the card she were dealt really well, and her final tribal council performance really sealed the deal. Also kinda just relate to her personality. Sandra - HvV was the fourth season I watched as the show was airing (started at Gabon), and the ending was just sooo satisfying. I also just personally find Sandra hilarious. Natalie Anderson - I found most of the cast quite boring and hard to root for, so I am just very thankful she won, and in a flashy way too! Vecepia - The underdog story, also just a very satisfying ending - plus the social aspect with the notes was pretty cool. Yam Yam - I was happy with either Yam Yam or Carolyn. Really strong social game, and him being queer, from Puerto Rico - I found his story really sweet.

Yul and Earl actually helped me renew my enthusiasm for Survivor winners. Cirie helped renew my enthusiasm for the game itself right before they played.

Chris Daugherty better be in your top 5. I watch that season for motivation honestly because bro really did it against all odds

As of right now, my favorites are Rich for basically inventing how to win, Fabio for his chill personality and clutch immunity run, and Maryanne for her outgoing and contagious character, under the radar gameplay, and being my first day 1 favorite I watched win live.

My Top 10 (10-6): 10 Ethan - Was strong physically and socially though he never played the strongest. But he's just such a kind man, never wanting to hurt anyone in the game, created his soccer organization to raise money for those in need. Just someone I would want to see win a million dollars. 9 Kim - Her season bores me, but the one saving grace is her gameplay. No one has options like she had and she maneuvered around everyone with them all thinking she was on their side. 8 Sandra - She's Queen for a reason. Though I prefer gameplay that isn't sitting back so much, her sassy attitude and amazing social game made her deserving of both wins. Also screw Russel. 7 Cochran - This dude is so smart and so funny. He's the underdog I loved rooting for and seeing how he analyzed situations. 6 Nick - A pretty strong social and strategic player. He aligned himself with the right people and used his advantages at the right times. I had a feeling he was winning his season for a long time.

My favorite is probably Gabler, because during the first episode I was like "this dude seems like a cool character, I'm gonna root for him" and the rest is history. Aligabler out.

42 is my favorite season of the New Era, and I'm glad to see Maryanne listed. She was fun! That being said, Nat A is the best, and I aspire to be half as much of a badass as she is.

10. Richard: First winner, handled his alliance well 9. Denise: Great social game, survived every tribal council 8. Earl: A very likable winner, technically the first perfect win besides 1 throwaway vote sent his way. 7. Wendell: Apart of arguably the best alliance duo of the series. Problem is I'm not sure he and Dom had great competition. 6. Parvati: Apart of the strongest female alliance in Survivor. Maybe leader? I'm not sure. Amanda and Cerie could have won just as easily under slightly different circumstances. 5. Sandra (HvV): Great manipulation, and. Good FTC performance. 4. Natalie A.: Overall great strategy and awareness, and control who would sit next to her in final 3 3. Maryanne: Probably the most underrated winner of the entire series, imo. Had great awareness of the game, and planned ahead perfectly for her finishing game. 2. Yul: Great strategist, was great socially and physically (despite being up against Ozzy) and Used the immunity idol perfectly. 1. Todd: Great control through the whole season. Arguably the best FTC performance of the whole series.

Tony and Nick are probably two of my favorites. Tony is always the most interesting player on screen who is so charismatic to me, and Nick was a winner I predicted on the first episode, watched an amazing season reinvigorate my love of survivor, and then watched win. I also have honorable mention to Gabler who donated ALL of his winnings. He did not play my favorite game of survivor to watch, but I have endless respect for him for that decision.

Fabio should’ve definitely been in Winners at War. We had a lot of gamers that season and with Fabio’s personality, he could’ve offered a new dynamic to the cast. I bet you he could’ve almost glided by to at least the Final 5-6 because nobody would take him seriously as a threat, lol

Chris D is one of my personal favorite winners, his gameplay form the Final 7 onwards is some of the best gameplay in all of Survivor, being able to beat 6 other girls by finding the cracks within them and using them to his advantages, splitting them up and taking them up. The problem is that Chris' early game goes from average to kind of bad.

Mine is Fabio cause he is a unique winner We never had the “target” ever won survivor they always come up short , so to see him actually winning was awesome!

Really rooted for Mike and Adam to win their seasons. Yul, Kim, Tony and Jeremy are probably my favourites.
