I have been using the Tab S4 over a month now and I love it. It replaced my iPad pro 9.7. DeX is a awesome feature and makes it more productive than my jPad in many cases. It it is very snappy in daily use and I don't have to worry about the S-Pen being dead and needing to charge like my Apple Pencil. Overall I have been very happy with it.

Watching this on my tabS4 haha its replaced my laptop, Textbooks, and notebooks. I use this for everything, I don't really touch my macbook pro anymore lol Makes college life so much easier.

This is the most awaited review. It seems like every tech youtubers forget that in the market there is also a gadget called tablet besides mobile.,but we consumers dont .some review i find in youtube about tab s4 is not in indian origin .i want to thank you that you have your eyes on every gadget on the market. I'm sorry but I don't consider it a viable laptop replacement solely due to the price. For that price you can buy a Google Mini, a laptop (30k), and lots of accessories which would be more productive. Sure there AMOLED display is great and it's portable, but the trade offs (sd835 and tablet running Android which is restrictive in apps compared to Windows or a full blown Linux distro) is too high for the price. For the price if the tablet instead had a Core M processor and Windows, it would've been much much more productive. That's my 2 Paisa.

Got a good deal on a new 64GB Galaxy Tab S4 for £410. I wanted a bigger AMOLED display with a non curved edge to edit my photos more comfortably with as my Note gets a bit cramped especially with the curved edges. I hardly use my old Macbook Pro so it was time for a tablet.

A tab s4 replaced my laptop and it's great. It can't replace a desktop though. Well, not for everyone. For some it might.

I was on the fence of purchasing one because 750 is not a justified price especially if Android is no longer supporting tablets. But by using dex on my Note 9 in my opinion it unifies tablet/mobile and pc very well and seamlessly. Samsung really did a good job with dex and I see it as very promising and the beginning of something even bigger. I feel it's better than chrome OS. I just purchased a used one with 256gb for 300 and yes I think at that price it is justified. For the fact that after pie no more updates and knowing Samsung it will be the last of it. Not thier fault though. Already have 2 iPads and they beat any Android tablet in performance and optimized tablet apps hands down. But just as a tablet. Just for the fact the tab s4 has dex makes it into a different device apart from just a tablet. And in my opinion that is where the niche is for the tab s4 although not easily seen.

Unless a tablet form factor runs a Computer OS like Windows or Mac we cannot call it a replacement for a computer. It may be a supplement for a computer for some. Desktop Mode on a tablet is just the user interface modification. It's still a Sandboxed Application based Mobile OS. Developers need a computer OS. MacBook is portable. It's one of the best choice for a portable computer. Tablets and iPads are still best at what they were designed for : Content Consumption.

Video is good but the tab is just damn overpriced why wouldn't I buy an Ipad and pressure sensation apple pencil gen 2 . If Samsung want it successful give us something that can beat ipad which is price and currently that's not the case. So I think it's a BAD deal as of now.
