Missing Sonny from A Bronx Tale for me. Layered character and fascinating to watch him play against Robert Dinero as a moral compass for the main character. And shout out to Joe Pesci from Goodfellas. Just unhinged.

I think Sonny was based on a real gangster. chazz palminteri wrote the play that become the film - if I dont rember wrong? have said that it was based on his youth.

I love Al Pacino's Tony Montana. I know he is a despicable, violent sociopath, but he is such a cool fearless gangster who doesn't break his balls or his word for anyone. At least, that is what he says.
