2012 is my class. Don't forget about the hobby only thick cards like NT, Topps Supreme, and Topps Valor (all condition sensitive, high end, low print cards)

Just a footnote that those gem rates are artificially high. The gem rate was much higher in ‘12 and ‘13 and steadily decreased since then. The amount of raw PSA 10’s in the wild from 2012 is probably closer to 20%.

I get what you’re saying but I don’t see how that makes the rates artificially high. The conversion rates are the conversion rates. I think what you’re saying is that cards submitted in 2012-13 time frame had a higher gem mint rate and now those cards are much older so fewer of them will come back a 10?

@@FootballCardQuest what I’m saying is saying a card from 2012 has a 40-50% gem rate in 2024 could mislead some people. Not that you’re being deceptive, just in all reality if you purchase 10 of these example cards today, you’re more likely to get 2 gems vice 4-5 just because most of the viable grading candidates have already been slabbed

FYI all 2012 Topps Platinum base cards are refractors, the orange and xfractors were parallels.
