Speaking of potential playable characters, do you know the name Vikram? He is a member of Vahumana who has been mentioned by several NPCs in Sumeru as one of the candidates for the Grand Conservator position. Vikram is a charismatic and persuasive individual, and has managed to get funding for his research despite the Akademiya's increasingly limited funding for regular researchers and students. His research focuses on King Deshret, and he is sponsoring Baharak's adventure to the desert to find traces of King Deshret's kin (or familiars). I was expecting him to appear during the 3.X version but he didn't so Hoyo probably save him for later plot.

I remember him as well, reading the little billboards in Sumeru cuz i was bored. Even if not really lore relevant, I thought it would be interesting for that debate or whatever to be expanded on. That could easily introduce two new male characters (which afaik, there's less guys than gals), or just one. Not holding out any hope since i don't remember seeing their names anywhere else, but i like the worldbuilding 👍

I have more faith in Hoyo after Gallagher in star rail, and especially some of the ZZZ designs. But i still fear, i hope that by the time we reach snezhnaya they finally have the model situation worked out. If Wuthering Waves can do it, so should hoyo

For that to happen, Frederica will have to be some kind of DPS that HEAVILY benefits from healing, because that team comp is running 3 healers.

sadly they had the perfect opportunity to make a family team comp with house of the hearth.. but instead gave us 2 pyro main dps, a doa cryo main dps, and whatever lynette is :c So I dont hold much hope 💀

I think Dottore has great potential as a future playable character. One of the reasons I believe he will be playable is because every important character that has ever appeared on an animated teaser before a new region (A Winter Night's Lazzo and Overture Teaser) has become playable or will probably be playable and has a unique model (Arlecchino, Childe, Pulcinella, prob. other harbingers, all Fontaine characters featured in Overture teaser). If he is playable, my guess is that he will be a cryo character because of his earrings. But because he is a 'Doctor', If he is one of the other elements I won't be surprised since he could probably use gadgets (like treasure hoarders). Another reason why I think he might be a cryo character is his color scheme. Will definitely pull for him if he is playable

While I agree that a multi-elemental mage would be an amazing concept in terms of gameplay ingenuity in Genshin... I don't think that will ever happen for one simple reason. Genshin's player base at large (including a large portion of whoever is reading this too because people like to exclude themselves) are REALLY bad at the game. If Hoyoverse turn Pierro into a character that manipulates multiple elements, they would have to compensate for all that utility by making him exceptionally difficult to play... Otherwise, he would become the most broken piece of shet in the history of Genshin. And dear God, I can already imagine the number of crybabies who will pull the character, not know how to use him, and then proceed to spam the living hell out of Hoyoverse about how their character is "bad" or "too hard". You might think that this is a stretch but if you take a single look at Genshin's Twitter playerbase you will immediately see what I mean.

Skirk is definitely a sword user. Shes described as a swordsman in childes story tab and she talks about swinging her sword in penance. Also in her leaked concept art she had different types of rapiers

This is just me but i seriously hope playable paimon isn't a floating toddler. I hope she's the tallest character in the game (or at least taller than every other female character) or, idk, floats. She'd be unique. It'd be such a waste if she just ended up being another "pretty faced" girl character whose design says only the barest of minimums about who/what she is.

i hope that by the time we get to charachters like varka and pucienella genshin will have so many connectionally atracrive charachters that they will take the risk and make them different there are definitely peoplle willing to spend money on sexy giant worrior dilf or evil little gremlin they could also make them broken for meta bc that would also attract the people who want to see big number

Most of the Hexenzirkel are immortal anyways. Barbeloth is at least 300, probably more. Alice could be more than 2000.

Something tells me Barbeloth is going to look similar to Xianyun - taller and with glasses but not actually elderly. However, I am certain Varka, Il Capitano and Pierro are going to get a special buff, tall, older male model. Pulcinella is a mystery still. Loved the video.

It's a shame realy. I like evil characters and he would be one of the very few male characters i would deffinitly pull for but china despises playable characters that don't worship the ground you walk on let alone one that is evil and looks down on you.

@@bencegergohocz5988 Yeah that's pretty understable if that's the case, but then again, Hoyo does alot of unconventional things for China's standards and _alot_ in HSR, their decision to aim for the widest appeal when it comes to Genshin always comes to bite them in the ass

The character that I want to become playable is Gold (just hope that she don’t die in the history) + my theory about the new element is that mechanically it will be the reverse of Dendro (only reacting with anemo, Geo and Cryo)

If in zzz hoyo finally grew balls and did something else like that one furry guy, it WOULD BE REALLY COOL if they continue to break the sekf imposed molde adding even more beaffy characters or old people. They're already dearing to give important NPC's unique characteristics, please keep doing that. As a fantasy game Genshin feels incomplete without these kinds of characters. For some reason they've avoided the counterparts of small girls (and i call it that because Sayu and Dori aren't children) and made all of them except Klee healers what the hell

the reason zzz can have varying body types is cuz you fight in fixed arenas. there is a reason the agents in zzz cant be used in the hub area. thats also the reason genshin in very reluctant on making new models entirely cuz its open world and a lot of things have been made with models we already have in game. but they have been slightly tweaking the existing models so we might see more of that than having entirely new models.

i really hope Pulcinella and Capitano are playable and Hoyo wont change their designs. As for Varka, there were some leaked concepts of him on Twitter, but i really hope the game actually makes an effort to introduce more body and facial models to the game, and Varka, Capitano would be out new gigachads. But... if they remove Capitano's mask and he's just another generic pretty boy... I'm done.

If Paimon comes out, as you mentioned she's probably gonna be Omni, but also Omni might be like Prismatic in Destiny 2. So perhaps her kit is gonna be a bit of mix and match with some other characters...

Ngl I'm here for your old people propaganda. I'm disappointed with Neuvilette's design and gameplay (as good as it is) because he'd be so much cooler if he looked and played as old as Genshin's story presents him! They don't even show him run in the story cutscenes and he looks silly as anything when he does, for the love of God, at least give him an alternate sprint that end with him balancing on his cane!!

Also, will add: I think a good direction Genshin will go in at some point to innovate on elements gameplay is elemental reactions/application onto the player, or in other words beneficial elemental reactions you can apply on yourself. Time/space manipulation works with that concept, imagine a reaction you apply to yourself that reduces skill cooldowns or resets you back to a previous state like Tracer, or a space reaction that gives you a temporary Hu Tao style I-frame dodge or the ability to dodge through enemies and obstacles. I don't even have to mention the puzzle applications for you to imagine them, too. 😊

I wonder when they're going to do the whole Varka/Expedition coming home thing. Mondstadt was only a prelude, we're missing Venti's 2nd story quest, Dornman Port as well still needs to come out. On the expedition we have: Varka, Frederica Gunnhildr and Seamus Pegg who are Barbara and Jean's parents. There's so many questions for me. Clearly, Varka is plenty strong. What is this expedition about, as to where they have to take a lot of the Knights of Favonius' force, and people like Frederica and Seamus, and have someone like Varka leading it. It's interesting to think about because we really have no information on what the whole thing is even about, and for Hoyo to leave us in the dark for so long as we're almost to Natlan... now I'm excited.

I am hoping for the Cryo Archon with maybe a super freeze for bosses or an enemy speed debuff like the effect cryo abyss mages give you. Also hope she is immune to sheer cold or can apply it to enemies as a sort of DOT or better cryo application. I also really want to know why they want the gnosis and her backstory.

the Iniquitous Baptist description that elements can be trapped and used by the abyss, and abyssal power is similar to elemental items, so I did think that Khaenri'ah characters who use a new type of magic energy, likely abyssal power, would basically be able to switch/absorb elements in some kind of way and use that element for their abilities For your multi-element Pierro kit idea, that could be how he does it, or he could just be using a bunch of delusions

I have a feeling (and hope) that we will go 500 years back in time, and many of the cool "old" characters that we saw will become playable: the yakshas, Ei's friends, Madame Ping in her prime, and even Signora.

I think a new male model that is taller and buffer could be viable, since there are characters that fit such model, like Varka, Capitano, Pierro. I would be soooo disappointed if Capitano turns out to be the usual tall male model like Childe. I mean, Childe is my daddy, but Capitano is d.a.d.d.y., you know...

honestly for Varka they don't even *need to make a new model.* They already HAVE it. They can either use the male Blacksmith model (Wagner in Mondstadt), or the Fatui Boxer or one of the Inazuma Samurai classes as base models. For Ping/Streetward Rambler she can also be a damage dealer, since Xiangling and Yanfei are her pupils, as well as Yaoyao who is learning Ping's spear techniques. So I think that has potential too. Sadly Hoyo won't make Theresa Gunnhildr (Jean and Barbara's mother) as playable character because... she's a mom. although canonically she's MUCH rather a warrior than a leader so instead of a healer like her daughters she could be a DPS. I REALLY hope Hoyo has some balls and makes both Seamus and Theresa playable but I'm not banking on it :(

If Capitano does end up being the Bloodstained Knight. I want him to be a chad like Grandmaster Arundolyn. This mf was so fucking badass that he dual wielded a Claymore and a Sword when he fought. Just imagine having Capitano do the same as well. If this theory does end up being true than Capitano and Signora were probably close because Arundolyn and Rostum were basically brothers and were always together

Your idea for Pierro is so damn cool. I used to think most characters would get to unlock a 2nd element at some point later in the game since we've seen multiple bosses swap between two since Andrius, including humans like Childe, and we also had the rare display of a double vision activation by Kazuha. I'm not playing genshin anymore, but I'll still be disappointed if the delusions or a 2nd element toggle don't develop into some kind of game mechanic eventually 😂 In fact, I thought about this so long ago that I used to theorize that Lyney and Lynette would be a """single character""" featuring the element toggle as a duo that swapped on field... but hoyo obviously decided to sell two eye candies instead of 2 for 1 😂😂
