@@shanerion I really dig the engine building and "combo-tastic" nature of it, as you can produce a resource you need which completes a card, which then produces a resource which could then complete another card, etc. I really enjoy the art as well, and it plays well solo which is a big bonus for me.

@@granthutchings271 I dunno. I don't actually own the game. It's a game I shouldn't like. It doesn't really match at all with my gaming tastes (as you can probably tell from the other games on this list.) But for some reason it just captivated me. I played about 10 times in the first couple months after my friend got the game. I always like seeing what new strategies I can do with new factions. I think I like the relatively simple actions that each person takes on their turn mixed with the wildly different ways that each faction uses those actions to achieve their goals. I also absolutely love the theme and the art. One of the best looking games around. I'm already looking forward to trying out the two new factions in the upcoming expansion. More to discover!

Love some Energy Empire. Is Pulsar really that good?

@@heathwashburn194 Just got back playing Runebound 3rd edition. About Pulsar, well I'm a sucker for dice drafting and this game has that. I would recommend anyone who likes fairly crunchy Euros to give this one a try. Lots of paths to choose from. You can focus on building transmitters, or exploring the planets, try your hand at acquiring technology benefits, improving your headquarters, or of course focus on building gyrodynes around pulsars. It can be a problem for AP players. Energy Empire, a great game, waiting for the expansion 'Cold War'.

Ooooh that'd be fun. we haven't done teach videos on the channel really but one thing we've toyed around with is bringing back a segment called board game highlight where we go a little more in depth on games. Also we can live stream it soon! Now I just wanna play it

@@TheBrothersMurph we got Wendake right when it came out....and it has sat on the shelf ever since 😔 we have over 300 games now and love gaming so much, but some games...if theres not a good video....never get played. I know we will LOVE it, once we know how to play it..... Since you love it so much and theres not much out there for it, maybe it would be the perfect time to try your hand at teaching games....even a live playthru would be fantastic!! 😊😊😊😊

Right, so its OK that the consumer has to pay for the same product multiple times until the designer finally figures out how to make the game work? He made a wine making game, where you could consistently win by making zero wine and give wine tasting tours with no wine in your cellars for 1vp. What a masterpiece of game design. Jamey is a excellent salesmen and marketing guru, but by no way a great game designer.

@@TheBrothersMurph Yes, I was unfortunate enough to buy the 1st ED, which was a broken mess. Then I had the choice, fork out another $90 to buy the Tuscany expansion that may fix the game or sell a useless and now worthless copy of 1st Ed at a major loss. Jamey could have offered a discount to those unfortunate to have bought the 1st ED, but hey, why not milk the community and get them to pay for your game twice. His attitude towards improving his design ability is rather poor. Going off the obvious lack of play testing that Tapestry has had, and I have played it more than once, I am not surprised he has made yet another game that is poorly designed, and essentially charged consumers to be his beta testers. Good on him I say. As long as games look pretty, have minis board gamers seem to not care less and he seems happy to exploit the community. Jamey is an expert salesman and marketing genius but a piss poor game designer.
